@@kon3688 sadly, it has been some time since i have reviewed a video card from MSI, but from then till today I have always heard the same, and all the Sapphire cards I have reviewed have been pretty awesome. $45 is a nice price saving, I would say go for the Sapphire, but totally up to you, you can save a little longer and with new cards coming in September, it might be better to save ;)

Sorry bud no, the RGB needs to be connected to the motherboard from the graphics card. You can use something like this off of my Amazon Affiliate link: geni.us/R5gE With that you can use the controller to control aRGB from your graphics card, and your CPU Fan and its affordable too.

Hey man! Great video again! I'm having two little issues: 1) Fan Check makes the fans spin like in your video, but they turn red in Trixx and a message is displayed telling me to contact the vendor. The thing is that the fans seem to be working just fine to me, haven´t had a problem so far. 2) The Sapphire logo in the video card won´t change colors using Trixx. When the computer starts, it shows the default color pattern. When I open ARB Fusion 2.0 from the Gigabyte App Center, it freezes on whatever color it was displaying when I opened the app. Won´t change with ARB Fusion either (but that´s obvious since it´s not pluged in to the motherboard).
Ok, you have to uninstall tall RGB Fusion and TRIXX, then uninstall the Drivers like I show you in this video with DDU, then when you get back in windows, reinstall the drivers, install TRIXX first, then install RGB fusion and you should be good. RGB Fusion fights with TRIXX, its been like this for years, Sapphire has tried to work with Gigabyte on this, but they don't want to change anything on their side, not sure why.
@@ThisBytesForYou I have the Sapphire Nitro+ 6600 XT, Using the latest TRIXX software and the latest AMD adrenaline software. Driver according to TRIXX is "Crimson 22.3.1". Trixx also reports a Failed fan test even though fans both spin to full RPM during test.

@@VapourRose yup, this is a gigabyte issue sadly, their RGB fusion software and trixx dont work well together. Sapphire has been trying to work with gigabyte on it but I don't know what has come up with it. I recommend creating a support request with sapphire but I think they are going to provide the same info, I got that info from them a while ago

Hi, I have this sapphire nitro+ rx 6600 xt card currently, when play monster hunter world it in 1080p resolution, I suppose can easily go beyond 100fps in high settings. But is turn out I not even can pass 100fps with medium low settings. I think even in 1440p resolution with medium setting I also should be able to pass 100fps. I tried my older gtx 1080 gpu can do that. My cpu is i3-10100f and motherboard pcie 3.0x16. I think my amd driver has already up to date. Anyone encountered this issue before? Please help...
Hello Studio, a few things here. Why do you assume you should be able to hit 100 frames per second easy on Monster hunter, have you seen someone with your exact specs do this? You have a Core i3, so it is a budget, entry level CPU, as well as the 6600XT. Realize, the 6600XT came out first, and it was the entry level 6 series, then a few months later, the regular 6600 came out, then a few months later the 6500 came out, those coming out, push the 6600XT to mid tier, but didn't improve performance on the card. Now that you have this understanding, I can try to help you. So that I can help, please list the manufacturer and exact model number of the following components: 1. Motherboard - manufacturer and exact model number (the motherboard is not PCIE 3.0 x16, it has a model number) 2. CPU - manufacturer and exact model number 3. RAM - manufacturer and exact model number 4. Video Card - manufacturer and exact model number 5. Power supply - manufacturer and exact model number 6. Monitor - manufacturer and exact model number Redundant I know, but many people forget to enter manufacturer and exact model number 7. Do you have ALL of the PCIE connections plugged in, and not daisy chained or pigtailed, each coming directly from the power supply? 8. Are you running through HDMI, DP, DVI, VGA, any adapters? 9. UEFI in the BIOS from Legacy. If it was set to Legacy, you will need to reinstall windows to get correct support.

And for the comparison on many channels rx 6600xt is higher performance than gtx 1080... Plus the i3-10100f performance in games also mostly higher than r5 2600 too...

Because you didn’t mention it in the video, I’m not trying to be rude I’m just genuinely wondering whether it’s static or not
if you set it, it will be static, I didn't think to mention that because to me, it made sense that it would be but I will mention that on the next one I do. With this, you can move the card to another PC and as long as there is no software that touches RGB for this card and/or you don't connect the aRGB cable to the motherboard and card, it will stay to whatever you set on the other machine. I apologize, but obviously many times a day people come to my videos and ask a question that is clearly stated in the video to save themselves a few seconds when I take days to make and edit these videos, taking time away from my family and they can't bother to watch the video, kinda makes the entire youtube thing pointless.

Doesn't it trixx glow work without the connection to motherboard via the ARGB connector? Other brands like MSI ASUS does not have the external connector

Got my build done! Finally , why is my cpu only boosting to 4.7ghz temps are around 60c should definitely boost to 5 what could be wrong?

If by fun you mean lighting, you can't, you need Trixx

Yes it does, but the connector allows it to sync to the motherboard
