    I just bought this model for my kids, 6 and 9. I'm going to take the rev limiter off after they get better at minuvering. They just started out riding. Going to go up to the raptor 90 in a year or so. Awesome machine and awesome vid.

      Congrats! It's a great little machine perfect for learners. My son just moved up to a 110 last week. we recently sold this. Holds its value well too!

    Sweet bro! Don’t forget about that Raptor 250 when they get older!

      I heard the Raptor 250 is a reliable machine.

      I also heard the raptor 350 is very good too same machine as the warrior 350, which was very reliable.

      @@OdysseyOffroad Long story...but in short the 350 is tall and is heavy. The 250 is 70 pounds lighter and makes the same power. The 250 was a purpose built low slung “race” quad that’s perfect for kids. They can slide it sideways and turn sharp without fear of rolling. I’d buy a 250 over the 350 even if they were the same price...or cheaper. If your doing sand dunes definitely go 250!

    “Look how much dust I made” 😂
    Great video bro!!
    I kept saying I wanted a Raptor 90 as a first machine for my daughter, after watching this review I’ve changed my mind.
    What’s a good age to start them on this particular machine?

    • @DUNEATV
      @DUNEATV 3 года назад +2

      I started my girls as early as possible...if they could sit on it and reach the bars it was time. Then at a very young age they were ripping the Glamis dunes! So much fun!

    Im getting one for my 6 year old turning 7 this month. Was almost ready to get him the Kawasaki 50 but it says everywhere that is painfully slow so im a little dissapointed about it now. Do you happen to know how does this one compare ? Of course is not that im not looking for him to go dangerously fast or anything like that but people say the kawasaki is about as fast as the electric ones so im afraid he'll get tired of it pretty quickly

    • @OdysseyOffroad
      @OdysseyOffroad  3 года назад +1

      I can't really speak to the Kawasaki as I've never seen one run in person and I don't know anyone who has one. As you can see from my video the Yamaha 50 with the governor removed moves pretty good. I would have zero hesitation about getting the Yamaha 50 again. So much so that when he's ready for a new one or something bigger I might just get the Yamaha 90. A lot of the '50s and '90s use the same exact motor they are Taiwanese built Eton. I don't know about the Kawasaki they may use a different platform or different clutching hence the reason why people say they're slower. But again you can see for yourself here that the Yamaha 50 moves really well That's one thing I can say for sure.
