Nelson Ortiz thanks for watching my video. JJ's Magic definitely makes a difference. In clear water just a small dab of chartreuse makes the bait "glow". It was a key factor for me at Lake Hartwell this year. Check out this dropshot video. All fish were caught using it. For bigger fish move out a little deeper when catching dinks. ruclips.net/video/UhjuYbAvJbM/видео.html
I do all of my fishing from the bank, don't own a boat anymore. That will change here in the near future. I am getting more and more into bass fishing here lately, so all of the tips are greatly appreciated brother! Going to check out the dropshots vid now.
Mr.Money , just recently saw your vid , I live in Central Ga. near Macon , i've fished Lanier before but never had much luck, But I will try a small jig/craw setup like yours next time im up there, PS you need to come checkout some of the hot spots we have down this way, Tight lines Brother !
wayne mitchell thanks for checking out the video. The bite is on at Lanier right now. I'm going out today to catch them on top water Sammy, dropshot and swim baits. I will put up a quick video to show how we do today. Be sure to subscribe to track our tournaments. Thanks.
Cool, I won 2 tournaments on West Point last year and fished one tournament on Wedowee and won that one also. Never fished Weis. Ned rig will definitely work. Fish it 3 times slower than you usually do. Good luck.
Can the brake (and the other setting) on a baitcaster limit your casting distance? On a bitsy bug I can cast pretty hard with decent spring technique, and I still can't get my rig far enough out.
bill wilson thanks for watching. Yes, the settings on your reel definitely play a big part in how well you cast smaller lures. Practice practice. Gradually loosen the tension as you get better and "thumbing" the spool will help prevent backlashes. Hope this helps.
Tim Holahan thanks for watching. Good question! I like the 1/4oz. For my style of fishing it has a good fall rate and it forces me to fish it slower to stay in contact with the bottom.
Tim Holahan thanks for the kind words. My next tournament is at Lake West Point on 28Jan2017. Please subscribe and follow me throughout the year as I fish for Angler of the Year and big money tournaments.
Thanks for watching. Good question and very observant. Although I now spend the majority of my time offshore back when this video was made I fished shallow a lot. I was actually within casting distance of the bank. The camera angle didn't really show that. In deeper water I would definitely go with a spinning set up for a small jig or shaky head. Thanks for the question.
@@MoneyBass I saw you were on lanier I thought maybe u fished allatoona as well. I fish there and the etowah river a lot, always needing advice on those systems, did well w the fluke yesterday.
Bro cmon don’t toss your extra line into the lake!
Thanks for supporting the channel!
JJ's is the truth! Used it on some of my baits and never failed me, nothing but dinks but hell I caught fish lol....

Like your set up
Thanks!
Ik this video was almost made a year ago but I found the rage craw chuck was perfect size for the mini flip bitsy bug
Conner Goodman thanks for the tip.
Caught a 12 lber on a Stike King Bleeding Bitsy Jig.
Michael Aguilar that's a great catch with such a tiny bait! Great job.
That’s good info bud, I appreciate it. I’m gonna make myself go to the lake and just throw jigs until I hook one.
Casey Moore thanks for watching. Have you tried it out yet?
Money Bass I have used a micro jig and. Ned rig type jig. I still suck. Lol
Casey Moore what lake do you fish?
Money Bass I fish West Point , weiss and wedowee but mostly West Point .

Money Bass Thanks, appreciate it.
Thank you for the helpful tip
Glad I could help. Thanks for watching. Happy Thanksgiving.
Good info. Well done!
Thanks!
I use the same jig and trailer. I just picked up some more 1/4 ounce. Was these bitsy bugs you used in the video a 1/4 jig? Good video
Yes, I like using the 1/4 oz because I can keep bottom contact better in deeper water. That weight is more versatile in my opinion. (Shallow and deep)
@@MoneyBass makes sense, thanks for the message
Great tips on set up I appreciate it!!!! Also don't forget to always check for the man before starting the explanation 2:04 😀
Shred Warrior thanks for watching. Had to make sure they weren't creeping up on me. 😎

Casting gear in open water with a bitsy? How come.

Ever fish allatoona?
Just once a few years ago. You?

Where is it your fishing?
Lake Lanier
thank you
elboregojhb thanks for watching.
Nice tips BUT keep your trash, no matter how small (i.e. cut line etc.), and throw it away man. Don't casually toss it in the lake or a river.
Great tip. Thanks for watching.
