Thanks very much for reacting to this Sattriya Dance form. It is one of the recognized Indian classical dance form . Glory to the great saint Srimanta Sankardev .
🙏 Mam, It's very nice. It reminds me the time of my childhood when only a single channel broadcast on our TV (we don't have cable connection that time) and in afternoon those type of musical program were telecast on TV - we use to get bored and waits for getting them over but it's great experience to watch it with U and now I like it. Actually it's quite relaxing and it's music is very soothing. Same time I sincerely apologize to those who love classical music for that time because that was my childhood 😬☺️
Thank u so much for this reaction video. I am from Assam and feeling so proud that a foreigner did this reaction. I am a Sattriya dancer and I really understand how u feel. Thank you so much again 💓 💗
The dance is talking about the ancient war of Mahabharata and about Ramayana which are events from more than 7000 years ago The dance symbolises the respect given to the legacy of the ancient solar and lunar dynesties of India that were more than 7000 years old
@@snowangee4276 Her hands were coloured, males usually in Sattriya do not colour their hands or legs with red paint and even Mehendi is usually taken by women🙂
Satriya is one the classical dance of Assam.the creator of striya is mahapursh of Assam - sankar dev. Satriya is appreciated to lord Vishnu. I know this from my father and mother.
That red colour in her hands called mehanthi, form of beautification only for female gender here in India.✌️ Just knowing the ramayan and Mahabharata, most of the indian classic dances could be understood by anyone in the world the language is secondary for to understand India classical dances🥰✌️👍
Hello mam your reactions are very beautiful and you respect and love Indian culture and it's heritage. I am a subscriber of yours. Let me give you a suggestion for an astonishing and outstanding Indian classical instrumental piece. Please react to Mita Nag Raag Miyan Ki Malhar from Darbar festival. And be safe and stay healthy 🙏😁

And his devotees .....that's the gist of the whole narration.
