Singing, dancing, compossing music, and acting or comedic skill. They can relevant for a long time with those skills. Some idols fall eventhough they are talented just because their group never get good song, and the other being overshadowed because lack of acting or comedic skill to marketing themselves.
It’s crazy how the same people who practice dancing and singing for hours and hours on end regularly are also expected to have dietary restrictions WHILE also exercising to keep in shape. Just a few of my takes: I think the weight thing is very concerning, take wonyoung for example, her face looks pretty, but she looks like her body is dying and that definitely takes away from her looks. For the plastic surgery, it's so normalised it's really sad, I believe almost all idols have gotten something done tbh and only play into this ridiculous beauty standards. Also, I think if you still go to school you really shouldn't be an idol, debuting minors is just so disgusting imo. That is more of a Korean toxic culture thing I belive though bcs international fans rarely have any problems with those things so yeah, the kpop industry showcases mostly what's wrong with their society in itself. Now with the Karina dating thing happening I hope that can change at least a little 😢

What happens is that eventually this will become a sense of the “cookie cutter” image. Where eventually idols will all start to look the same. This is what happened with american female rappers/hip hop artists. Like back in the 80’s and 90’s in america, all female rap/hip hop artists all had their own image and had something that would be distinct to their image and talents. Nowadays all american female rap/hip hop artists sound the same, look the same and rap about the same 5 things along with having essentially a horrible lack of talent. The only thing with idols when it comes to their artistry compared to todays american rap/hip hop artists is that they actually have talent.
To be honest... They may have perfected their looks, and dancing skills. BUT, I have yet to hear anyone with REAL TALENT for SINGING. Like Really GOOD at it, LIVE, most especially LIVE without much auto tune, backdraft, and so and so...
ooh i think there are quite a number actually, and I understand where you come from though. Maybe watch the music program like immortal songs where they pretty much sing live with bands, most idols who appear there have strong vocals.
I think it's mostly the 4th gen and 5th gen( obvious exceptions are there). Till 3rd gen idols even if not good they could still sing. Take jisoo for an example. She isn't a great singer but see her encores , the worst singers in 3rd gen are easily better than those in today's gen
well im sure there's quite a few and i believe one of them is enhypen. You can watch their cover of a one direction song called "What Makes You Beautiful" they did live on a show😊
I once tried to be as 'flawless' as I can be just like these K-Pop idols because who wouldn't? Turns out, being perfect like them isn't great. My mistake is that I thought I can copy them of them and be like them. It just ruin my confidence when I make a mistake because it's 'not how they act' and 'I should be perfect' just like them. If I would go back to time, I'll pick my appropriate role model and be as free and confident than what I am today. ☹️

The Kpop industry wants to maintain this relationship of parasociality between idols and fans on an extreme level so fans think they "own" the idol's by being loyal to them💀
it’s because the fans are very possessive towards them. in asian celebrity culture there are different types of fans, most young idols have “wife/girlfriends” fans or “husband/boyfriend” fans. this means that they envision themselves as your bf/gf and so when idols date people it makes them feel like the idol is cheating on them. when a dating “scandal” breaks they always lose many fans and sometimes their career will end over it. 😢
who's fault is this? artists who wants FAME? businessmen/company who wants MONEY? people searching, listening, praising this idols? VISUAL is very important. we know we love to see something or someone's beautiful, eye-catching.
yeah.. sadly we are a society that favors good look and this is a widespread problem really, can't really point the problem in just one direction It's a whole collective culture.
Thanks for the video. I also heard Idols getting bus from one event to the next most of the time the very same day. I always wonder how you can stand singing and dancing to the same song over and over again for months? For me I always cheer everyone in the business from Idol to the staff.
Thank for sharing your thoughts 🫶 There were instances where they had to be in several events at the same day. One of 2nd Gen idol Junsu once mention in an interview that in their heyday, there's a time they had to commute Japan-korea 3-4 times in a day and that is very taxing on their health. That is very nice of you, yes.. we sometimes forget there are dedicated staffs behind them that help them through the schedule.
forget about talent and skills when they can instantly become popular using brands and Internet platforms:look at BP to say the least 😅those were valid for those at the beginning, before becoming popular in the western world.
What amazes the most is their skin, so white and so flawless, to be very successful you also need an extreme luck, your lucky if all the member in your group will not quit
took a lot of effort and a team to create that. they have their dermatologist and make up artists to maintain the look. and yes.. luck factor is important too, even when u managed to debut, not everyone are that lucky and can be famous 😢
you are constatnly overworked and you dont get much sleep as well its insane and you literally faint and collapse on stage its insane like its also really bad for your mental health and your overall health like its really insane
Remember back in 2021 when Jae or Eaj, talked about this, but was getting shit on… Like I guess he had that whole ‘Thot’ controversy, but he wasn’t wrong about the idol industry shaping people into what the company wants. Idols are basically perfect for people who are extremely delusional. Like they really just not acting like normal humans out in public. It’s crazy.

@@crystalwaters513 thank you. Well this is a sticky situation with a dose of delulu. It's deeper than I thought, but nonetheless it's still sad
I just did the math for weight and I'm suppose to be 99 lbs. Yea, I would not survive. I feel so bad for them, I love them but also the idol life is just cruel.
yeah..plus their deadly schedule... it's not for the faint-hearted.
who's fault is this?
artists who wants FAME?
businessmen/company who wants MONEY?
people searching, listening, praising this idols?
VISUAL is very important.
we know we love to see something or someone's beautiful, eye-catching.
yeah.. sadly we are a society that favors good look
and this is a widespread problem really, can't really point the problem in just one direction
It's a whole collective culture.
I'M 160 CM I WOULD LITERALLY DIE IF I WEIGHED LESS THAN 40 KG (I'M currently UNDERWEIGHT AS IT IS )LIKE WHAT DO THEY EXPECT US TO BE!??
guys what itzy performance is at 5:38 it looks so good 😭😭
Born to be (2nd World Tour)
I'm scared of trying for kpop cause of that I'm under 14 and my height is 150 so I would have to weight 30kg
The music is important 😂😂😂
I'd have to be like 94 pounds! That's so light, I'd be sick!
Lipsynch
Excellent video!
Thank you very much! 🫶🏻
No one should be put on an extreme diet because their company says so they are beautiful just the way they are❤
No wonder IU is sooo perfect....
Yeah that's crazy
forget about talent and skills when they can instantly become popular using brands and Internet platforms:look at BP to say the least 😅those were valid for those at the beginning, before becoming popular in the western world.
Wonyoung actually looks less skinny on camera.
😂Eunwoo and Wonyoung in the thumbnail
What amazes the most is their skin, so white and so flawless, to be very successful you also need an extreme luck, your lucky if all the member in your group will not quit
took a lot of effort and a team to create that. they have their dermatologist and make up artists to maintain the look.
and yes.. luck factor is important too, even when u managed to debut, not everyone are that lucky and can be famous 😢
Hybe's Sakura?
Kim Jiwoong my baby😭
😭
its hard to feel bad for them when they're the ones who choose to sign up for it and are fully aware of what they're getting themselves into
im 5'2 and 37 only im honestly bullied for being thing and they are appriciated. its confusing
you are constatnly overworked and you dont get much sleep as well its insane and you literally faint and collapse on stage its insane like its also really bad for your mental health and your overall health like its really insane
Remember back in 2021 when Jae or Eaj, talked about this, but was getting shit on…
Like I guess he had that whole ‘Thot’ controversy, but he wasn’t wrong about the idol industry shaping people into what the company wants.
Idols are basically perfect for people who are extremely delusional. Like they really just not acting like normal humans out in public. It’s crazy.
I never thought Sehun was good looking, he’s not ugly for sure, but he just looks slightly above average to me, nothing to write home about.
I wanna be a kpop idol and im 4.76 feet so i have to be 25kg and im 40 😭😭😭😭
I’m literally 153cm 😭
By Kpop Standards I’d have to weigh the same as an 8 year old ! 💀
nauuuuurrr 😭
😭 💀
@@KPOPNook 😭
I'm supposed to be 66 lb and im a teen 😭
They focus more on looks now that the talents are becoming less and less.
U shouldn’t use blackpink but instead use SNSD aka girls generation for skills and vocals.
Gurl wtf?!! Blackpink also has the strongest vocals nd great rapping skills...It was completely fine for her to use Blackpink... Why are you making a fuss??
Black pink is fine I'd say, but they could've shown several groups I guess
@@Campbelljingles snsd is the definition of longevity for kpop girl group!! Their visuals, vocals, variety skills and they r the entire package of what K-pop girl group is about unlike blackpink which has so little musics and their songs is one hit wonder 🥱
Forget to add as well tat snsd still haven’t disband yet unlike blackpink already disbanded due to company mismanagement and YG seems like going downhill!!
@@ps-cx9hz yes anyone from the 2 gen girl groups but snsd is the best to describe because they are still in the industry and haven’t disbanded yet
@@Hahahaha10188 Do you live under rock??
Blackpink renewed their contract as a group but chose not to renew contracts as a solo artists...
Lol im 172cm. If i weighed 52 kg ide just be bones ...

Unpopular opinion, Wonyoung is more ALIVE when she was in IZONE.
Oh my
Wait im confused. Do people get eyelid surgery to GET a double or single lid?
Double
obviously surgical proof for wonyoung but eunwoo. that man has always been good looking in in high school its funny.
I'm 20 147cm - 120 Then I'm suppose to weigh 27 🥹
You'll be easily blown by the wind... 😭
You are an adult who is 147 cm? Wow never met an adult that short.
@@vixxexo6855 they're filipino, its normal to be short in SEA
@@yaymilko Aren’t they usually like 160? Most filipino I know are around 160.
Me at 21yo with 155cm and 33 kg.
But there's no need to be sorry for this idols cuz they choose this career my themselves in the first even after knowing the truth
I have 150 so I have to be 30kg..? I have 50kg🤔
Fans that supposed to love and support you will betray your not innocent and nice…. Ok
How can you dance and sing if you eat an apple and few eggs im not suprised i see artists passing out
it's crazy.. then when the idol are seen dancing weakly, people will say they are lazy 👀
So Im about 149 cm so I should be around 30 kg, 66 pounds?? Even at my worse eating disorder I was never that low. Do they want people to die?
That weight only make sense if we're like 10 years old or something🤣
None of this is a secret
5:25
2:12 who's sheee
that's kim sejeong. she was a member of ioi and gugudan. she's currently an actress and her most famous work was business proposal.
Be a kpop artist really sucks!
So sad 😞
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.

Romains 8:1-10
[6]Et l'affection de la chair, c'est la mort, tandis que l'affection de l'esprit, c'est la vie et la paix;
The 2 eggs and half an apple is enough for me to feel full for the whole day cause when i was like around 4 sometimes i wouldn't even eat thats like around 4 days of not eating so those 2 eggs and half a apple is honestly alot of food to me😂❤
Romains 7:25
