I added a small plastic air duct that flows air into the diff. Never had the error come up again! In the mean time there was also a recall that changed the diff software (the reason given was to fix the overheating).

17" tires are considerably cheaper (255 cost the same as 225 in 18"). Not all 17" wheels will fit over the brake caliper, so you need to pick a model that fits.
From where do you find the picture of you car on the track ? I'm going to visit nurburgring for the first time so would be nice to have a picture on track

No, the car (looks to me like a Porsche 911 996 Cabriolet) was never in his slipstream when he attempted to clean the windscreen. If you've ever seen a wind tunnel test, you can imagine the car "poking a hole" through the air and leaving a wake of turbulent air behind, but mostly in the path that it drove along. The air next to the car will not be affected immediately, and there won't be much or any wiper fluid going there. Most of it will go over the roof, minor amounts to the sides, but also mostly alongside the silhouette of the car and not directly sideway. So i think the Porsche was spared of most of the fluid.

There was some safety margin. Yes keeping others unpredictability is important, but people that go in there need to be aware of the surroundings and the rules. Unfortunately there is very little enforcement on that end. Lots of drivers just have no idea.
At the end turistenfahrten is open for everyone you should never go on track that full and just go for hotlaps, for a lot of people its their first time driving there. take care

It’s gotta be safer to wait for an open part of the track to yield than switch lanes and emergency brake to not hit the traffic that was moving way slower than he was. Traffic happens, even on the ring.

The traffic jam talk on the main straight took longer than the whole lap. Too busy to drive like that, nice lap but you take too much risks and have too much trust in other (unknown) people....

Car is in expert mode. The traction control is off, and the stability has very little intervention. To be honest it really doesn't bother me.

The convertible was quite far already. Windscreen was super dirty.

This car is limited at 230km/h, will go a bit over it like 232km/h. Indicated maximum speed in any car was solid 300km/h.
