The Rustic Gent looks nice, but it's made in China. Also I thought I read somewhere that the Proper can be disassembled. Unlike a lot of slipjoints the Proper has screws not pins.

I've had this in My Cart for over a month now, and I'm so close to snagging it, even though I know it won't be used as my edc (my default is the orange 533). I like pocketclips & thumbstuds for quick access, but I really want this to check off that 'dressy' box. I have a Kershaw Highball which is the closest thing I have to a gentleman's folder currently.

I dig the 319. Not the sliciest, not the best walk and talk and not the prettiest but a useful blade shape for edc, well done Micarta and a handy size. It is a non threatening knife that works well in a secondary role. No big stabby blade or clunck noises that people look over at you when you pull it out and open it.

The blade thickness and grind on Rustic Gent looks much better.

No knife is unsafe it's the user.
