    I made this in three days and I added some flared cuffs to the end of the sleeves. I've only ever made one wonky mitten before and I clicked on this video not even knowing how to do a double stitch. Thank you for explaining it so well, your voice is really relaxing and I didn't get overstimulated like I usually do with youtube videos!

      ooh howd you do a flare

    • @llama9764
      @llama9764 2 года назад +78

      @@yanga_by_esther So you follow it like in the video and when you want the flare to start, you crochet two holes for every one hole for a row like oOOo instead of oOoO(or you can do two or three rows like this if you want it extra flared) and then you crochet one hole for every hole for two or three more rows like oOo, depending on how long you want it to be. Does that make sense? 💀💀

    freaking OBSESSED with this pattern! thank you so much for sharing 🙂
    side note: if anyone has a thing with needing neck room (i always feel like i'm suffocating), i made a bit more of a scoop-neck-ish neckline by basically doing the normal pattern for the 4/5 boxes on the left/right and then single crocheting the middle portion 2 times before doing the long chain for the neckhole! it's still super cute and more comfy for people like me who have a weird thing with having a tight neck on clothing

    • @anna.jisalo
      @anna.jisalo  2 года назад +1

      Hii❤️you could make something easier to start, but this is also not bad to start with 😊my first crochet project was a shoulder bag something similar to the one i have on my channel . crochet is definitely easier than knitting. You can start with a crochet bag ,there are alot of beginner friendly tutorials on RUclips. I hope this helped❤️

    Very pretty, Anna! When doing the sleeves did you have to increase to get the wider opening at the ends?...Or does the yarn naturally stretch to give the princess sleeve look? Thanks for sharing!

    • @anna.jisalo
      @anna.jisalo  2 года назад +8

      Hello❤️I didn’t make any increase I just went round till I got my length. The yarn doesn’t stretch it just continues to widen as you go down because of the pattern I used .

    Love this! Will be making this on Friday. I am just wondering, do you make any increase to get that bell sleeve? I really love how your sleeves turned out and want mine to be like that too. Thank you!

    • @anna.jisalo
      @anna.jisalo  2 года назад +7

      Hi💕 to get a straight sleeve I would have to slip stich at every last stich to get the same amount of Stiches on each row , but I just kept on going round without any slip Stiches so the sleeves just expanded as the length increases . If I made an increase I would have placed 2 stitches in each hole but I didn’t , so I don’t want to call it an increase exactly. I hope I was clear enough 😂❤️.
