My ecu went bad because the fender liners disappeared and it got wet. Wet electronics cause problems. You did the same thing I did, I checked my compression after the engine was installed! Things are hard when you in the wrong order? I couldn't even check one of the cylinders because the stupid egr tube was in the damn way. But our engines run and they can't take that away from us!
@@chriswitty8192 I never got independent verification but the truck ran horribly and wasn't shifting either. Because the pcm runs the engine and transmission I figured bad pcm.
Thats the Mach1 / Marauder intake you got on top there, BEST intake for making power!!! As the TB is on the passenger side it's a Mach1,the Marauder is the exact same,just reversed.

you have to check for spark and if no spark ( it can be the ecu ) and check ecu fuse and other things related to that..... make sure the battery is good and check all connection also... Do you have PATS System on the car ?

you ever thought about the correct MAF as well to match the ECU? like how civilian panthers are 70mm maf and p71s, marauders are 80mm. that could help as well with the engine running smoothly

@@bstfordchannel923 it’s so you can’t clear codes off your ecu with obd2 scanner and immediately get car inspection so check engine light won’t be on. It manually makes you run through engine cycle so codes can refresh, inspection shops in pa say 15 mins at above 15mph 15 mins above 35mph and 15mins above 45mph to cycle. I always just use 60 mile loop is easier
hey whats up bro.... Just been hanging deal with life ( to old to deal with what i am dealing with ) at home... Well I think the valves are bad I have to watch what I am doing with this engine and have another one ready and freshened up
I left the ecu in the weather and I noticed a green spot in the ecu ( on a chip ) and it was also working off and on ( at idle ) the ecu was on its way out
The tune will do that and sometimes the ( cutom air filter ) will cause that... A tune is need to make this happen... You can install lightly bigger injectors if you like but that may make things worst ( maf ) has to match injectors... It just sucks
@@kevingilroy depending the reasoning on doing that... The newr cars have better injectors ( new vics and fords ) depending the year of you Vic abd what you are trying to do....

I changed the plugs on my 2009 P71. It seems to be running lean. How would you riching the mixture?

My mustang dohc cylinder 7 i change spark plug , coilpack, no change still misfire i can unplug the fuel injector on 7 engine sound no change
