How does the bladder tie in around the newel posts? I.E. can the posts be bolted to the rim joist and joists or do the posts need to sit on top of the decing
I keep trying to find a vid of you completing a deck after you put this barrier on, but cant find one. Can you show dealing with this membrane while screwing in deck boards, etc?
Is there a reason to use EPDM and not RPE liner? Most ponds nowadays seem to be using RPE (unless the pond has odd shapes). Supposedly RPE is lighter and stronger.
No - not possible to really learn from you. You skirt the real information.
Like the:
1) separation of joists
2) size of joists
3) the droop of the bladder at the far end.
These are real issues that will help us make use of information.
Your course cost for this should be $75 - then everyone will buy it.
Make it $75
Perhaps just for one day !

How do you keep the system from being clogged up with leaves, dirt, pine needles, and other gunk?
Love the videos, but a deep dive step to step would be awesome
Yeah I’m still not following the section overlaps, and connection to the downspout parts
What kind of caulk you use between the layers of epdm?
How does the system work? Where is the gutter?
I see you are using a telescoping ladder... Which one do you recommend?
What mil thickness is that? 30?
How do you flash the EPDM against the brick?
Grinder kerf. Silicone/sealant.
Great information thanks for sharing
Dr Decks, what is your caulk preference for the EPDM application and which one, if any, you most certainly wouldn’t choose?
We mostly use Henry’s 900
@@drdecks, thank you for replying
@@drdecks, in one of your clips you mentioned that you use G-tape 3045 which is designed for EPDM. The store only sells a 2-inch thick 3045, so what about thicker rolls? Do you use 3040 when you need 6, 9 or 12”?
