I know nothing about rivals but the unique mechanics are really interesting
You should play! There will undoubtedly be players of your skill level when you get in. That's really the only thing that matters. Being "bad" is honestly so much fun when playing against equally skilled people.

does anyone know how to change the color of the skins like blue ranno at the one hour mark? I have the default tuxedo ranno but im not sure how they do the colors for it
54:10 darai runs off the stage as ranno and immediately grabs ledge... anyone kmows how he did that? No wavedash, and if you just run off normally youre too far from ledge to ledgehog...

The devs have said they want to do it eventually, but it took years to make it a reality for Rivals 1, and their current priority is launching the game and making sure it does well. Can't give a game workshop support if you don't have a game in the first place haha

On controller, you use the bumpers and triggers for skins. One will change costume, the other will change color of that costume

Id love this game if it had modding support like rivals 1 does but from what i hear it not gonna happen
