Nice pickup and Riviera ! Hey one day there should be an all new tool for a 70s Cabover (Diamond Reo, White Road Commander, Ford 9000, etc) just saying 😇👍🏼
I’ve been modelling for 60 years. How about releasing more 1/25 plastic scale car kits from the 1970’s to today’s models. Tired of the same stuff I built 50 years ago. If you want to keep the hobby going and get new kids into it you need current models and the prices need to come down. By the time you buy the kit, paints and glue, etc you’re spending $50 ($70 here in Canada) what kid can afford that. I can’t even afford that anymore.
I got back into the hobby around 6 years ago. I basically build 1/25 cars. I probably built around 60 and you're right on average about 40 to 50 bucks. Definitely not a cheap hobby. I find that many of these kits are the same kits with a few extra parts and new decals.
@@JohnC-or7lnI started building at age 5. 48 years later I'm still building, but I refuse to buy any of these new kids at their ridiculous new prices. I wait for clearing deals and sales and garage sales - swap meets... These new people at the new company have new objectives - $$$
Right. Especially when they're using old molds. They don't even bother to clean em up. Still have that gross flash we took off when we were kids@@garytanck
Since you are wearing a Blues Brothers t-shirt, when can we expect a 1/24th scale 1974 Dodge Monaco sedan aka the Bluesmobile. I so want to build so many stock and demo versions.
It's been said for decades now, that last-generation C-body Monaco/Royal Monaco would be a huge hit, especially if done for multiple versions. Perhaps someday someone will listen.
I’m in the UK (Scotland) and last year I went to their Autoworld website and used the ‘contact us’ section at the bottom to ask why there was no 1/25 Bluesmobile Monaco kit. I did get a response from a customer agent who said they were aware many people were wanting this and my email would be passed on to a manager-perhaps if they received more emails via their website they may take more notice as I don’t think they look at these comments as much now.
I would love to see the MPC Dick Landy Dodge Challenger Pro Stocker 1/25 KIT Being Re-released 🤔🤔🤔 ... cause there going for 350$ to 400$ on Ebay, it's just to crazy🙄🙄🙄 !! Really Hope that KIT will come back out...🤞🤞🤞
I'm not giving up! I still would like to see reissues of the Barris Thunder Charger from the movie Thunder Alley with decals for both the movie version and post- movie version, the Meyers Tow'd and 1971 Torino Cobra with the NASCAR parts. None of those models were reissued after their initial release! Why? I would also like to see the 1960 Chevy Bel Air (?) station wagon Craftsman series kit reissued. Thank you!
I've seen a few of the " old " dart kits. The dart kit can't be popular if I've seen the old ones. I'd like to see some other Dodge,Plymouth Fargo, pickup truck kits or car. Like 30-70's. Thanks
Love the awesome creativity at the beginning of this showcase 😮. Nice change. Good job creation crew. Thanks Chad 🤙 keep rocking it. Hope to see more old Ford pickup models 67-72, 80-86, 92-96 in all the configurations diecast Premium AW. Thanks, crew, at Round2
I live about 40 miles from Tuskegee. It's cool that y'all did a plane in their honor!! Plus the Commodores were from there also She's a brick house, she's mighty , mighty letting it all hang out!!!😅
I’m a Mopar guy but I’m not into race cars. But I’m sure lots of people will enjoy the Dart. How about bringing back the MPC 71 cuda in 1/25 scale!! Or a 71 Challenger RT!
Would love to see the 1973 Plymouth Duster Customizing kit release. That kit hasn’t been released since 1973. Prices of the original kits are out of sight.
As a complete big rig truck nut I have enjoyed seeing your company re-released old kits I grew up with but could you bring out some newer Mack, Kenworth or Peterbilt models
Thank you AMT/Round 2!!! I'm really excited about the Dodge Dart round track late model and the Buick Riviera. I'll be ordering one or two of each. Thanks again!
That would require them to spend money on tooling. Something they don't seem to like to do these day's.!! They will just keep reaching into the archives/ re releasing the same car's over and over again. I am surprised we haven't seen the 49 merc come back out for the millionth time. Oh when they do they will add white wall tires to the kit and new decals with vintage box art.
Also the 1965 Ford Fairlane and the 1970 GTO both in stock trim. Not sure when they were last released as stock rather than 'stock cars', but they would be nice additions. All of these were AMT releases.
You should do a long box GM Square Body in 1/25, 1/64, & 1/87 scales. You should also to the ‘81 to ‘93 Dodge truck 4x4 with all three cabs. Standard, Club Cab, and Crew Cabs. I’m wanting to get two of your Dodge Warlock and convert it to a crew cab long box from ‘81 to ‘85.
Many years ago , I bought two of the Chevy Blazers ( the one that had the construction company decals ) - the plan was to combine both kits to create a tandem axle dually set-up ( eight total rear wheels ) . I am old now and will eventually sell all my unbuilt kits .
DUDE, I had a '79 formula. 400 4spd... it's so cool that y'all did a formula. . And not another T/A. I do love the T/A"s, but there is millions and millions of them
I really wish that the custom kits also came with the parts to build a full stock version, I have left a number of these kits on the shelf in the shop because they cannot be built stock.
I am so so glad to see the Dodge Dart racecar come back. As a WWII history buff I am very impressed with the WWII diecasts. I'm glad to see a company trying to keep history alive like this. 😁
We slowed some things down to rework some product lines and make some improvements for future releases. Stay tuned, we got slot cars coming soon and we will be sure to keep you guys in the loop!
You need to come out with the '71,'72,and '73 Boat tail Riviera, with the option of bench or bucket, seats center console with a 8- track player, and a option to create the Landau top. My wife had a '72, they were fun to drive too.
Wow ! I think you are on to something . I have been a Pontiac fan for many years - I would love to see a 1955 Oldsmobile , a 1959 Pontiac Bonneville and a 1976 Pontiac Grand Prix . The 1976 and 1977 Grand Prix s were almost identical except for the front grill and the medallions on 77's tail light lenses .
Would love to see more of the OLDER kits like the 60 & the other ford pickup re-released & maybe not as much re-releasing kits from a month or 2 back. Just my opinion
Hopefully the Dodge Dart kitcar tires actually fit the rims this time around. The old version the rims were too small or tire holes too big, but the rims fall inside the tires.
I love that Dodge Dart short track car. I have two of those from previous issues. Definitely gonna add this one. The pickup is sweet. Probably gonna have to add that one too. lol. Bruce in Wv!!!
That Riviera needs to be a 1:18 die cast model. Love the others you do, but you seem to revisit certain muscle cars repeatedly while ignoring some of these classic sedans.
Those days are long gone never to return.I’ve got to the point that I’m not going to spend the money they want for these kits that have been released over and over again.
If history is any guide, the Sherman never “wrought destruction” on much German armor…the Sherman’s strength was its numbers and usually took 10 Sherman’s to take out a Tiger/Panther
While grateful for this release and any recognition, where you really missed the opportunity with this video was explaining that the 442nd was made up of the Japanese Americans that had all their property seized by the U.S. Govt and were placed in Internment Camps by that Govt and STILL FOUGHT FOR THIS COUNTRY! Oh BTW, Ni-sei is 2nd Generation (1,2,3...Ichi, Ni, San in Japanese). And it's pronounced, "Min-duh-NOW". Sadly many of the old injection moulds have been recycled or destroyed. There have been a few retooled, but it seems injection moulding itself is slowly on its way out. The heat formed plastic is not easily recycled and increasing costs of equipment and power. Skilled operators. I have heard 3d modelling may be the way forward purchasing the code. It is a slow process at the moment. I too have been model building for 40 years plus.
The ICM kits from Ukraine are really becoming the new standard . I have purchased many of the 1 / 35 scale vehicles and figures kits and am quite pleased with the amount of detail . I have about six of their 1/ 24 scale kits and they are really nice ( but expensive ) . The Ukrainian manufacturers have the injection moulding process down pretty good . When the war finally ends - I predict that they will start to increase production to include many new options that we have not seen before . I continue to support them by purchasing those ICM products .
We understand it’s a light month on new product but stay tuned, we have numerous releases in the works that we will be showing off in the near future. Lots of goodies coming! Stay tuned!
As much as Round 2 dove into all this great stuff, I salute their passion for what they're doing. These guys are very dedicated, I enjoyed watching all the stuff they got from AMT in a video a while back
Love the Dodge Dart Short Track Car 🏁🏁 It's a GREAT time to be a Modeler!!! 🤜🤛🙂
Nice stuff...really like too see some new drag car stuff...
Thanks again for doing these videos. Would love to see the rerelease of MPC pro stock racers of the early 70s.
Nice pickup and Riviera !

I second that the price is getting ridiculous! There's no way those kits are costing more than $5 to produce these days, or much less.

Would love to see the Corvette Summer car as a die-cast....that and the black Trans Am villain car! I think that would be a hit!!
Nice looking model kits. Those should sell well. Thanks for sharing.
Cool weathering on the military vehicles.
Awesome hat and an awesome t-shirt.. cheers😊
I’m a Mopar guy but I’m not into race cars. But I’m sure lots of people will enjoy the Dart. How about bringing back the MPC 71 cuda in 1/25 scale!! Or a 71 Challenger RT!
I love the military release from Johny Lightning
That Johnny Lightning WWII set is very nice!
That 1/18 Firebird is so freaking good
While I don't collect Johnny Lightning military, I think you guys hit a home run with this series 👍
I think Revell Germany has an issue of a 2010's Volvo tractor . Might be available at Andy's Hobby Headquarters .
67 Galaxy model kit already in ragtop and hardtop!!!!!!!!!
I've been foaming at the mouth for that firebird lmao
Good 2nd gens are rare and it's even rarer to see one that isn't a TA
Very cool stuff. I would love to see some older dodge vans from the mid 70s
Cool kits for sure like that Chevy Apache ,sure would love to see that Javelin make a come back
thanks for all the cool kits.
That 66 Rivi & 60 Pickup looks cool
I only have one 1/18 Scale in my case and that 🐦 looks it might need to be added to my case too
66 Imperial??!!
The WWII releases are kind of cool. I might get a couple of those. Wouldn't object too loudly to another Riv, either.
Can't wait to buid the Riviera. Any chance on the 1969 Chevrolet Impala getting re-issued?
We need some of these cars in 1/87 scale. Be nice to get a Plymouth Duster or a Chevy Nova.
Wish amt would do the 63 c10 pickup again
When will you be bringing out more big rigs
That Dart kit car is sweet.
I've built that Riviera back in the Ertl days. Love that kit.
You still need to do a 73 Chevelle SS though.
👌😎👍Your WW2 Vehicles and Aircraft are very cool indeed, You should also make some British and German vehicles and Aircraft as well to go with them!.
Thank you AMT/Round 2!!! I'm really excited about the Dodge Dart round track late model and the Buick Riviera. I'll be ordering one or two of each. Thanks again!
Me too!!
Grateful for the new models
The 73 through 87 square body 4x4 long bed would be a great kit
