    I bought a used Gen 3 G23 from a private individual. It included a 9mm Lonewolf conversion barrel. When we met in person for the transaction, I field stripped it. The barrel, slide, and receiver looked about average at first glance. Shit!!! When I got it home, in some good light, on my bench, and detail stripped it, one would think a cup of cappuccino had been poured into the trigger assembly and left to dry overnight. Gunk. Goo. I enjoy cleaning and maintaining Glocks. This is my 4th Glock in my arsenal. 22, 27, 19, and now 23.

      An armorer can help take it down if needed, i know they aren't that hard to figure out but that's the "proper" answer :-)

    First wiping, then dry brushing, then wet patching and then dry patching is a little in efficient for me, I just put a drop or two of Ballistol or cleaner on a tooth brush and brush everything, let it sit and wipe it off.

    Hi Sir, I have two questions: 1-Can I use ethyl alcohol (95% or 96%) instead? 2-Can I clean the polymer parts as well with ethyl alcohol? Does it going to have a degrading effect on them like other degreasers? I would really appreciate if you could answer those 2 questions, I have a new glock and waiting for your response to whether use ethyl alcohol on it or not

      1..that’s fine. 2. Is ok but don’t over do it or get too aggressive. The alcohol won’t hurt the polymer if you’re smart with it.

    Hi, I have a brand new g19 gen 4 (DEC 13). only after 100 rounds I noticed that there is a crack on the frame. The crack is in between the front two slide rails on the frame. It’s deep enough you can see the metal under the polymer. Is this normal?

    Hi sir, Do you recommend using compressed air from the machine to blow the dirt out as the 1st step of cleaning process of a Glock 19? or do you think it will take the dirt further deep down into the internals and do more harm than good?

    • @GunsandTactics
      @GunsandTactics  5 лет назад +1

      A lot of times it can blow it in further. Wipe with a dry rag first and that will remove a lot of crud before you make mud.

      GUNS & TACTICS thing is I already used compressed air to blow out the dirt after 100 rounds. Then do i have to blow it again below the trigger in case some of them went inside? Or do i leave it just as it is and clean regularly? Thanks for the replies

    Real question is how to keep the spent brass from hitting you in the face when shooting it. And I'm not talking about it bouncing off a wall

      Mine don't eject straight back, that issue with the gen 4 has been reported. A lot of times it can be fixed with the later version ejector.

    Personally I like to work from front to back, then back to front, maybe from the side and then go to sleep but that’s just me lol

    How to clean a glock. Drop in ultrasonic cleaner. Come back in 45 minutes. Take apart. Let dry. Reassemble. Done.

    Follow owners manual like you would do on a vehicle, day you need to use it will be the day it fails! Seenit happen more than once always clean and lubricate after firing sessions. Always clean firing pin breech face upside down.

    Question if I wanted to replace the factory trigger on the Glock 21 Gen 4 what can I replace it with and what is the best one I would like your opinion thank you sir

    • @GunsandTactics
      @GunsandTactics  5 лет назад +1

      Best is a subjective term. If you just want to lighten it up and smooth it out you could add a minus connector, gen 3 trigger bar and then still have factory reliability. That’s usually my go to set up. However if you want something super light there are a ton of aftermarket options. Check out our website and search for Glock trigger as we have some articles comparing various options
