The Penitentiary is a place of many Horrors, but after a few years, it becomes your daily norm. You are not their for reformation, but locked away, forgotten, and fed like an animal....day after day, month after month, year after year. Like she said many times, if you are committing blue collar crimes that earn prison time, stop and walk away before its too late, and you are indicted! Most Prosecutors have 97%+ conviction rates, so you are going to be thrown to people who have been living as I explained, for year after year! You will end up getting hurt or worse, for breaking a rule you never even knew existed! Greed earned me my hut.

I can't stand when people say "well if you followed the law that wouldn't have happened" etc. As if you deserve literally anything bad that happens to you after breaking the law. You get your sentence according to the justice system. A custodial sentence is just that- you lose your freedom to go to work or uni, to see your friends and family, to live where you want. It does not mean you should face avoidable and excessive mental or physical stress. You do not lose your right to be treated with respect and dignity

    • @chb2551

Don't forget her risk to her life. Having feces spread all over the walls is a biohazard with a high level of threat to her life. If the woman had had HIV for instance Christina's life would be at risk. She should have been removed from the area immediately. Since she wasn't, I'd sue them for everything they've got for threatening her life like that.

    • @bambino9235
      @bambino9235 4 года назад +3

Ch B that's a very good point. Her custodial sentence could have become a death sentence, and surely nobody can justify that? The same is true for inmate on inmate violence. solitary confinement has been proven to cause damage to the brain just withing 72 hours of being in there. putting someone in there for a whole month just for "kissing someone" is inhumane to say the least. had a person legitimately been a threat i would have understood that kind of punishment and even then it's too cruel. as for the old woman spreading feces on the wall, that's a clear sign of distress, it's commonly observed in abused children, but it can happen with adults too.

When I saw your life now ( I mean after prison) I was so glad to see where you are now, your family, your state of mind, your decisiveness, your way of life in general. Greetings from Macedonia and I wish you all the best for you and your family.
I have 2 questions if you ever do Q&A. 1. Do you communicate with your mother now (maybe you said something on that topic but I missed it). 2. Is the woman you were talking about, (who hit the old man and got 20 years) still in jail? Thank you

My grandmother was a prison guard for harris county Texas from the mid 80s all the way to 2007, I asked her about the abuse towards prisoners.
She mentioned all the things she witnessed and/or heard about.
She said she highly hated and disagreed with it, tried to help in certain situations but sometimes couldn't because it would've been her word against the others plus would've sacrificed her position.
    Twisted and sad.

This just makes me absolutely sick to my stomach! Those guards have a responsibility to ensure the safety and well being of every inmate in the prison! And it just boils my blood to hear of all the inhumane things they do to them and the shit they get away with with no repercussions whatsoever or fear of losing their job or jail time. They need to be held accountable! Shit needs to change!

as someone whos is from germany, I'm so shocked to hear how prisons are like in the US.... I thought it was better there than what you are telling. People in prison would need help, rehabilitation and all that stuff and not to be tortured.
Though thank you for being so strong and talking about these situations! It gives a good insight what is going on and I'd really hope there could be an improvement to prisons where you live!
I watched videos about how it is in german prisons too and compared to your stories they sound a luxury :/

I’m so glad I did because I’m an addict in recovery for 2 yrs now, so I’ve been to jail longest time I was in for 3 months and you just reminded me of how bad jail was. And I was in solitary for three days & thought I was gonna go insane! You describe it so perfectly that you just brought me back! It’s inhuman. You need to write a book!

I am so diametrically opposed to solitary confinement. It is absolute torture. If someone already has a mental illness, it’s obviously going to make it worse. And if you don’t have any mental issues, you definitely will after being locked in solitary. I can’t even imagine how that must feel. I hope you don’t have PTSD, or are able to overcome it, if so.
I’ve never been to prison, just jail. But the “bunk” situation reminded me of when a very large woman (upwards of 300 lbs) slipped and fell on my tiny 115 lb body (I was dope sick, definitely not trying to brag). I had to sleep on the floor, well with my mat, as it was. But omg, it HURT! Thanks for sharing your experiences. I really love and appreciate your videos. Being real is so underrated. I watch your videos every day, when I’m showered, driving to work, etc. Keep making more!

Tho it's made me so much stronger I encourage anyone going thru it to get help!
