Wow, your uptempo swing is around 330bpm! That's incredibly fast. Do you rely a lot on finger technique when playing on the ride?

Hi! Thanks for checking this one out. Yes, I first and formost try to stay relaxed. I especially relax the fulcrum and let the stick bounce with controled guidance from my fingers. I support the stick more with my third finger. I think of it as a delicate process. I hope this helps! :)

Thanks for subscribing James! These drums are Sonor S-Classix, 8"x8", 10"x10", 12"x12", 14"x14" Toms -18" x 22" Kick drum - 6.5"x 14" SQ1 Snare drum. I usually use a smaller kit for this kind of playing but I thought it would be fun to knock it out with this one. Thanks for watching!
