if youve been around slot cars long enough, you can tell they are actively( for the most part) manually adjusting the speed for each section. the controllers you see here are VERY expensive and ultra sensitive to minute trigger position changes. What looks like flat out is in some sections actually well timed micro adjustments.
I was into that in the 60's..by the 70's they had stopped looking like real cars and I really didn't like the new slot cars could go so fast..it was not fun to watch....just blurs.
