I hope you know that we realize all the extra work, and hours, and lost sleep, these videos cost you. We are thrilled that you do this for us. Thank you so much! I am praying for Faith on this Easter Sunday! How wonderful that you have a lower rate for one of America's heros, on the front lines. So kind of you. Happy Easter to you and your family
Your comment “still want to be a rancher”? YES! I am 40 years old and everyday of my life I wake up wanting that life. I see hard work with a reward at the end that is tangible. Your father in law saw something special deep inside of you when he left his ranch in your care. I wish there was a place in this world for me like you have on that ranch.
Terrific content. I drive a truck for a living. I see cattle every day. They are almost my traveling companions. My favorite part of the day is to see cattle take care of each other, it’s evident. Or when calves jump up and down like children. What great animals
Nice to see your renting your farmhouse to nurse who's working at Campbell County Hospital. I was there quite a few times when I lived there. Exceptional hospital. Had Dr. Sara Hartsaw as my surgeon for my breast cancer. Could not have had better care anywhere in the world. Love the care you give to your cows and calves. Ranching is the hardest job you'll ever love. I miss my Wyoming life.
My dream job is working a farm/ranch. Today I woke up at 6am drove about 25min to where all the farms are located started putting myself out there as a hard worker. Tomorrow I have an interview at 8am hopefully I get the job
I'm hiding in the garage, stuffing easter eggs, and was just thinking about the cows when the notification popped up that the video was here! Happy Easter, OWL family. ♡
Just found your channel. Love cattle and especially Angus and Angus bulls. Grew up with an Angus herd in central Illinois. Of course our farm was on a much smaller scale then your ranch but the same on loving this life style. We also had 3,000 layer hens. Lots of egg gathering. I remember helping to pull several calves in my day. Thanks for sharing and showing your love for your cattle.
Congratulations on your babies. Why does Faith's mom keep hiding her? God bless you and your family. Be safe. Happy Easter!!! Hope you have a blessed day♥️🇺🇸🌹
Thanks Dottie. Its a instinct thing with animals. Hide the newborn form predators while Mom goes to eat or drink. That's about the best explanation I have. Happy Easter to you and your family.
I worked for a couple of companies that are competitors of the equipment you use. Except for your old windrower tractor. We sold tweels on our skid steer loaders too. I enjoy your videos. You do a great job.
That's a lot of work. It feels strange watching you running around in the storm from the comfort of my home. Congrats on the 5 new calves. Waiting for the word on Faith.
I’m a city girl and I have learned so much as to what it takes to raise livestock. Thank you! I have a greater appreciation for your lifestyle. And I become SO HAPPY and excited to witness the birth of a calf. Thanks again!💗
Ohhh the babies in the snow...wish I was there to cuddle them and keep them warm. S'pose I could bring them back to Australia with me so they can keep warm with me LOL 🤣
It is such a good idea to handle and be around your cattle daily. What a difference it makes when you need to give them care. Cows can be dangerous if too wild. You are very wise. Hope your day is day with your family was amazing!
Happy Easter to you and your family. 🐣🐇🍷 That's such a nice thing with the Nurse and you cutting the rate, that's what makes the world go round. Congratulations on the calves YAY! JO JO IN VT 💕😄
As I watch this three years after it was shown , I know faith is ok as I have seen her with her own calf in more recent postings. Still amazing to watch .
Me and my wife really enjoy your videos and if you ever get a chance come and see us in Thailand. We have a home in Utah this summer we might come up and see you guys.
Lots of fog and cold, I think cows should have some shelter for them and calves outside because so cold but so cute and protect them. I love your channel
I don't know if anything is in "Bad taste" anymore I love your co-pilot .....lol Mike I really can't believe how I real it is that you are taking us along with you...I never have felt so close to a channel like this, I am tired for you. I know what it's like I used to work in the foaling barn that was years ago... I am reminded of it again. You can call the one you tagged backwards.... " Back ordered" lol as everything is now days! Love these thank you again
Can you please continue with daily vlogs after the 30 on 30 is complete. You're one of the best channels I follow!! I realize it's a lot of extra work but so worth it to me and your fan base.... Happy Easter and keep on doing what you are doing!!! Bob
That partner cracked me up! Just as I was thinking how silly I was to leave my window down to find 3” of snow in my front seat. And I knew better! That hard work will keep us all young. Though our hearts go out to these calves, there is a reason they are born at the time they are. You really showed one of the he concerns ranchers go through just to keep going to supply us all with food. Mike and Erin I hope you have and your family have a very Blessed Easter
Hi Mike! I really like these daily videos. Your specialty ones are good too, don't take it wrong, but these show the joy of new life, the pain of things gone wrong and all in between. Thanks for posting!
I just want to tell you that I have a lot of respect for you the work that you are and the time you put into it. The food we have is easy for us to get we really don’t think about it what goes into putting it on our table. Having watched you channel for some time and sitting in my house on lockdown I must say that you can’t just stop what you are doing it is a 24 hour a day job. Thank you.
We got snow in west Texas this morning south of Amarillo about 80 miles. Like we never get snow this time of year. So I guess it’s gonna be a good wet year for us
I think you need a drone to check for missing calves. Also a shed open on one side would provide protection for the young ones. Check out northern farmer to see what he has for his cows.
Hi from South West Australia. I run a few hundred acres with 40 cows and we are calving now as well. We are running into our winter and rains normally start now and run up to October then very little through summer. Love your video and how you do it in those freezing conditions Cheers from Spring Farm York Western Australia
We’ve had -14 Celsius the last few mornings here, a bit of wind, making much worse. Fortunately the cows that have calved here are good Mamas and have kept the calves comfortable too. I have put lots of bedding out there and that helps keep everyone off the cold frozen ground. Still have couple feet of snow here also.
I'm a new subscriber and love the ranch lifestyle. I'm also from Alabama congrats on the alabamian coming to help the hospital. I also ordered some jerky can't wait till it gets here. I plan on coming to stay in your farm house soon but I have a baby due in June. Thanks to all the ranchers for your hard work.
Happy Easter Mike to you and your family and everybody it's kind of crazy you're getting the snow and today we're supposed to get tornadoes or in a tornado warning now here in Alabama and it's not supposed to get real bad until late tonight that's crazy it's already starting to storm everybody stay safe I remember my dad going out looking for Cavs back in the late sixties early seventies except he did it on horseback like I said bring back good memories thanks for sharing how pray Faith is doing good and we see her tomorrow
Question from a total city slicker: these days are there no "tags" available with chips, to locate the new calves? Seems it would be helpful for ranchers. Blessings this Easter.
There are RF tags that can be used while working the animals, a long range tracker would probably not be cheap light or small enough. Sandi Brook uses them on her sheep.
There are GPS trackers for bees; not commercially available mind. But you can get GPS tags for cats and dogs. Very small and weather proof. But would run the costs for a whole herd of cows and calves.
My understanding from the GPS collars you see on dogs and cats is that they have to be charged fairly frequently. With 100 ish cow calf pairs I can see that becoming pretty unwieldy.
As a new subscriber, not long after you started the 30 vlogs/30 days these videos are so stressful for me. Want everything to work out perfectly with the calves and cows, I don't know how you stay so calm and collected. So much respect to the ranchers out there, these videos are entertaining and informative. Faith's mom definitely won't be getting a Mother's day card from me this year, will be thinking about her all day and hoping for the best. Crazy how attached I get to these animals just watching videos for a couple weeks.
Good morning and congratulations. I wish it was a warmer day for you. I’m happy you got great tenants. Bless you and your family on this Easter morning.🙏🙏💕
Hi mike. I would like to know how i can get the live cam so i could watch your cattle and ranch. Love what you are doing and wished i could have done it myself. I love farming and raising live stock. I just never had the land or money to do it. Thank you so much for sharing your life with us. One of these days we want to visit your spread. God bless youand your family.
Hope the calving is going well through the winter storm as we're getting it also with 50 mph winds and were supposed to get 6 to 8 inches of snow and there saying no travel but were supposed to stay home anyway and the state snowplows are out as they have gone by our house 4x Hope you and your family have a Blessed Easter.
Back in the old days grandpa use to take a mother and calf and put them in a smaller pasture or fenced in pen to keep mom with calf so she learned not to leave her calf behind . It usually only took two weeks to get her to straighten out and not leave calf be hind but then too they were dairy cows I don’t know if that makes a difference or not.
You know you've done something right, when animals don't run away from you.
Thanks Nathan. Happy Easter to you. See ya tomorrow.
Great idea with renting the house to the nurse and family, it takes a community to make things happen. Great experience for all to have!
So humbling. I have a lot of respect on farmers and ranchers. They are the backbones of our nation.🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🙏🙏🙏✝️✝️✝️♥️♥️♥️
How great for that nurses family to be able to stay at The Farmhouse
Everyone email him to keep the vlogs after the 30 days
I was going email and ask him that but he does deserve a lil break. Especially after doing a couple 24hr live streams during these dirty 30
Corey I was going to say the same thing. That was quite a toll on him and his family
@Daniel Kintigh or three times. I could handle three just fine! Too greedy? Yeah. Corey and Lions were right. Fine. Two would be awesome!
I used tell Mike why only 3 times a week? Everyday has been great 🙂 🍿
Terrific content. I drive a truck for a living. I see cattle every day. They are almost my traveling companions. My favorite part of the day is to see cattle take care of each other, it’s evident. Or when calves jump up and down like children. What great animals
Great to see you tagging the calf....how it didn't put the calf or mom in any distress or pain...thanks Mike!
Hi Josh!!
Thanks Josh. Happy Easter to you and the Family.
@@OurWyomingLife what web cam equipment do you use for livestream?
Mike, your videos have taught me to truly appreciate how hard our farmers work to put food on our table. Thank you Mike and Erin.
Thank you for supporting the nurse lady and her family. It means a ton coming from a family of nurses and farmers.
Very welcome James. Thanks
Nice to see your renting your farmhouse to nurse who's working at Campbell County Hospital. I was there quite a few times when I lived there. Exceptional hospital. Very good Mike. Glad you was able to find all the new born calves. The snow just seems to soon. Have a wonderful snowing day. Thanks for sharing Mike.
I love our wyoming life. Thank you for the videos. They fill my day.
Cows seem very comfortable around you, well done my friend! 👍🏻🙏🏼✌🏼🚜
My dream job is working a farm/ranch. Today I woke up at 6am drove about 25min to where all the farms are located started putting myself out there as a hard worker. Tomorrow I have an interview at 8am hopefully I get the job
I love your dry sense of humor👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Again, a clear view of real life on a cattle ranch. Good job. John from Louisville.
I'm hiding in the garage, stuffing easter eggs, and was just thinking about the cows when the notification popped up that the video was here!
Happy Easter, OWL family. ♡
Happy Easter to you Megan. Thanks for tagging along.

Happy Easter! Faith just wants to surprise everyone like the Easter Bunny!
Yes it is awesome and I just love watching him interacting with the animals. 👏
That's a lot of work. It feels strange watching you running around in the storm from the comfort of my home. Congrats on the 5 new calves. Waiting for the word on Faith.
Particularly, from a sunny, 20°C spot while eating ice cream :)
Thank you for the explanation of why you have wind breaks (21:05).
I’m a city girl and I have learned so much as to what it takes to raise livestock. Thank you! I have a greater appreciation for your lifestyle. And I become SO HAPPY and excited to witness the birth of a calf. Thanks again!💗

Rancher 1963
Where the heck are you? Montana? Canada?
I'm in Florida so the very concept of a couple of feet of snow right now just hurts me!
snowed hard here in missoula montana all day yesterday, nice sunny skies today, all snow melted fast, no snow ground cover
Happy Easter, Mike and family.
I'm a new subscriber and love the ranch lifestyle. I'm also from Alabama congrats on the alabamian coming to help the hospital. I also ordered some jerky can't wait till it gets here. Good job Mike

Thanks Cheryl. Happy Easter to you and yours also. Thanks for tagging along
Life of a rancher buddy. All ya need is a storm to make ya earn that paycheck. Yet another great video. Hope ya'll have a good Easter.
Thanks For the 30 and 30. Always love your videos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just go to our website and click on camera
Should get GPS collars and put on the calf’s just in case. That way you can track them like they do hunting dogs.
Well I would need over 100 of them
Hope the calving is going well through the winter storm as we're getting it also with 50 mph winds and were supposed to get 6 to 8 inches of snow and there saying no travel but were supposed to stay home anyway and the state snowplows are out as they have gone by our house 4x Hope you and your family have a Blessed Easter.
Happy Easter!! Have a great weekend.

You need to get a drone to find these littles.
Just read some of the comments and answers. I am glad that Faith the calf has been found and is doing fine.
I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who sometimes tags backwards
Glad that 5 are here and hope that Faith is ok. Too bad the weather changed, but I guess you have experienced worse during calving sesson. Stay safe
Great vlog again
