Grow a garden and all the excess greens can go to the goats. There are all kinds of greens you can grow in a garden fast and repeatedly and they would absolutely love it and you could keep it up im sure. Just an idea.

Because, I believe that Ralph and Leanne, through "Grandpa with Adler Farms" really made a difference in My life. Reason being, I am homebound disabled Senior person that grew up on a 35 acre farm as a child. And watching their videos bring back a little bit of those sweet memories of my childhood. And as a bonus, I also get to watch their families channels as 'Adler Farms, Rae's Ranch and Rescue, Case Does Stuff and K&S Get Out." I relive my childhood vicariously through them. Plus I get to see all of their adventures, too! 🤗

Happy Fathers Day Grandpa. When I was a kid, I pulled carrots straight out of the ground, wiped them on my pants and ate them. I did the same with rhubarb, we picked wild raspberries and blackberries and sloes and haws and lots of other plants, never washed them and lived to tell the tale. 😊😊

That's the way to eat them.. all the good stuff's on them then but when you wash it, it gets washed away and you miss out on all those great nutrients you wouldn't get any other way💖

Yeap, pant legs made a great way to clean vegetables and some fruits. I don't remember ever washing fruit we picked
Me and my sisters drank out of streams and garden hoses. We passed around ice cream cones and Nehi soda. We rode in the back of a pickup truck and behind Grandpa on the tractor. We rode horses without saddles or reins. We played outside roaming around the woods and in a cave. Our parents weren't helicoptor parents. They assumed we had enough sense to know what to stay away from. We all survived!

He would eat the trash in the roads and he never gained weight from it butts and paper cups that were rolling around he ate what was there for him to chew on and the A & W ROOT BEER STAND they gave him a small root beer to drink and would eat all of their paper goods it was funny !!!

We had enough property that we rotated fencing because we got goats for the purpose of keeping property cleared. When they clear an area they move to the next section until the first section grows back. We had 4 sections and 5 goats.

kevin's goats have a great deal more space, which maybe helps - more exercise and less boredom eating? Kevin's goats will rip your arm off for grain, but he doesnt grain feed at all in summer, just tells them to go eat grass!

And that you take amazing care of all your animals! we had just about every animal that you could think of at one time or another when I was growing up. we had 100 Nubian goats and just loved watching the babies. I was wondering when you fence off the woods, if you could put fence down the middle where you could switch them back and forth so the weeds and leaves could replenish while they were on the opposite side. Just a thought because you mentioned about what to do when they eat everything up. But I know you will figure it out. I love how you research everything that is unfamiliar or not known before you do it or give things to your animals. Because you do love them that much, which makes some happy and healthy animals. Love the baby pigs and you and grandma, thanks for making these videos as special as you do. Love the singing, talking to the animals, and how great you treat all your animals.

Smoky is attached to the goats and to Grandpa. I think its selfish to move her over to the new farm. Chad should get another puppy for his farm.
Smokey might be confused by the move , but she will adapt. Just think of any animal that was rehomed from shelters etc. They probably miss their past owners but do recover and move on. It is us humans that tend to put emotions into play with animals. Again I am not saying Smokey won't be confused , but again she will quickly move on and bond with other animals.

Happy Father's day!! My goats loved young pine trees I'd toss them into their own. I cut grape Vines & sweet potato runners for the rabbits and chickens and grow clover for them all. I bought it from coop. Have a blessed day. I think you two are doing fantastic you're always searching!

Happy Father's Day Grandpa Adler. I just want to tell you how I feed my dogs. I take their dry and add the pedigree canned chicken, then I also add a raw egg, since they don't really like the shells, I bought a pill crusher (not a spliter but a crusher) that I dry and crush the chicken egg shells then when it's a powder I add it to the bowl. I buy roasting chickens, I eat the legs wings and breasts but the dogs get the thighs plus all other meat and nuckles cut up then added to their food, or I add the trimmings off my roasts to the pedigree canned beef. That way I don't go thru so many cans of dog food, the pan drippings, fat and trimmings go to the dogs off any meat i'm having for dinner. That way nothing goes to waste.
Just a thought on your question on feeding the goats. If trees and shrubs are leafing out in season, thats when you give the goats access to grazing. Winter and early spring they would get hay and grain.
For everything there is a season.

Happy Father's Day. I just got chickens this spring. I've been reading up on how and what to feed them. I've seen videos and articles about feeding fermented food to them. From what I've found it says they love it and it's really good for them. Just like eating fermented food is good for us and our gut bacteria. Plus it's supposed to cut the feed in half if you feed it to them all the time. They recommend having several buckets going all the time, as they start using one they start another so they have one always ready to go. I only have 7 chickens so I won't have to have so much all the time. In two of the videos and some of the articles I saw they also were feeding their goats and pigs and a few other farm animals the fermented feed. They were also saying how good it was for their pigs and how much they love it. From what I read they said that 1 cup of feed a day is how much a chicken should have to eat. So you put a half cup of feed per chicken per day in
the container and then add water until it covers the feed to about 2 inches above it. I added the water but when I stirred it it absorbed all the water so I kept stirring and adding water until it was about the 2 inches above. The article I read didn't specify so I hope I did it right. You might want to check this out, don't take my word for it though. But with the price of feed going up, cutting the feed bill would help alot. Of course I don't have as many animals as you and Chad do. And especially if it's as healthy for the animals as they say. I spent alot of time researching how to care for them because I try to take as good of care of my animals as possible. I read a bunch of stuff about what kinds of foods they can and can't have. In my reading avocados, potato peels and a few other things are big no no's. Other natural dewormers for chickens are Pumpkin and Winter squash, carrots, garlic, mustard greens, and chilli peppers. They say if the birds won't eat them you can hide it in other food that they love, like cottage cheese. And you can use canned pumpkin, the real stuff, not the pumpkin pie filling instead though. Good luck with putting the animals on a diet, its hard not to feed them when they act like they're starving. Take care, God Bless.

Paw Paw you’re give the animals a great time when you feed them every day. I love it and it makes me happy.
With my goats in my goat pen, about 1/3 an acre they are starting to run low on the things they like. My original goat Buddy will follow me around like a dog and most of the time listen too him if I tell him to stay away from my garden plants. So I have been taking him on daily walks to the front yard which is about 2/3 of an acre. He will spend about an hour browsing on all his favorite weeds and vines. I am trying to train the other 3 to behave the same way and then they can accompany me on walks. I also have several neighbors that want to borrow them to clear their lots. You may consider letting them go out to K&S Get Out once Kyle gets some fence up. Let them stay a couple days to a week and by the time they get home there will be new greens to eat there.

I had a shock last night Grandpa. I was shopping for dehydrated eggs. Auguson Farms 2lb #10 can went from $33 to $88 on Amazon. I thought it would be cheaper at Walmart, nope, they wanted $110. It's good to get away from news like this and just go to the farm, hang out for awhile.

Loved the chicken and the mouse keep away game they played! Your chicken coop is probably in another state by now😂😂. Grandpa, check into pine trees limbs, pumpkins, and other natural dewormers for the goats . Some natural dewormers such as pumpkins are good for the chickens. I
also think canned pumpkin is good hor Smokey. Almost forgot Happy Father's day.
I remember going to the garden with my grandparents, picking the harvest and eating it. We would wipe the veggies or fruit off on our shirt and eat it.

Martha it is not a medicine. It’s a hemp joint supplement. I do not know if it actually eases pain. I order it from Amazon.
