That’s so interesting. I had been to Loch Ness a few years ago and loved the whole area. Scotland is amazing. And my first postcard was with the Nessie monster in front 😀
Nice you were in Scotland in. Typically glorious day. The weather gives the Scott’s their Scottishness. Fresh, envigourating, interesting, stimulating and delightful.
When it comes to the weather Scots are eternal optimists. Blue sky and 18c we are firing up the BBQ , dressing in shorts and t shirts and installing decking.
Saw a tv documentary loooong time ago. Older archeologist for looking for Nesse all his life made one final sweep of the Loch and gound her and her babies corpses. Since then no one has said they’ve seen her. Who Knows???! She was a plesiosaur ☺️
As this is a video about the Scottish highland I just wanted to mention Finn Creaney, He posted videos about outdoor lifestyle and had a channel called ‘the wildcat way’. he went missing whilst hiking around Loch Naver in March last year and hasn’t been seen or heard from since. Sorry if this comment is unrelated to the video but wanted to take the opportunity to spread awareness of his disappearance in the hope the he could be found.
Many people are forgetting about old age like if Nessie was spotted 800 years ago and if you search up a pleasaurs life span it come up it be 50-100 year and people reported seeing Nessie drew 1943 to 2023 it either a hoax or a group of them but that just my theory tell me what think..
It should be mentioned that the reason these tales have existed for so long is because of how deep and how murky the water is. If you took the water from every lake (Loch) in Scotland it wouldn't fill loch Ness and there are a LOT of lakes.
There's a lot of stories in Europe of saints banning (but not killing) snakes or dragons. This is usually used as a metaphor for Christianisation and banning of the pagan traditions. Maybe the origin story of Nessie is one of those stories
wanna hear something CrAzY? In North America we have a creature that resides in a body of water called lake Champlain that is partly in Vermont and Canada! Well the description is identical to the Loch Ness monster and here's the CrAzY part the Loch Ness and lake Champlain used to be connected back before the land broke apart into separate continents! Now how CrAzY is THAT!?!
Nessie is a pletriasour it’s like a mamal It can’t stay up on land like the dinosaurs pletriasours are mamals that live under water and go up to breath once
Loch ness its self (the pond) is not that old. In times where dinosaurs roamed , it was just a highland. No Water in sight. So realistically nessie makes no sense and is just a tourist grab
EVERYONE THAT PIC IS FAKE THE PERSON UESED A SUMBERINE btw im bad at spelling and im talking about the first pic EDIT: im talking about the pic at the top of the screen at the beginning so u don't get confused
Watching this from Edinburgh, hope you have more content from Scotland on the way
Same
Ditto
Fr tho
Watching from inverness
That’s so interesting. I had been to Loch Ness a few years ago and loved the whole area. Scotland is amazing. And my first postcard was with the Nessie monster in front 😀
I visited loch ness when I was in Scotland. It was the most peaceful place I've ever been.
My family is from Scotland so I learned so much cool stuff!

That’s cool but this means you need to explore more of Scotland then
“STAY CURIOUS”
Me: Ima stay scarred if that monster ever comes out…
It’s not real it’s a whale dick whales do this when ready to mate

It is real or well it was some time ago in 500 AD but its probably dead or something@@calebgillan2936

I was learning about this at school as well!

Clearly you don’t know Nessie as everyone knows that she is a woman 🙄🙄🙄
@@frazzledfrazles4713 UH HOW DARE YOU JUST ASSUME
@@okiskrrt lol
Been there! My young son ran around on the castle ramparts. ❤ Scottish roots here!❤
Watching from Glasgow, happy hunting 🤣🤣💙💜🏴
Lassie lives in our Scottish folk forever!
Excited to see what else you share from Scotland.
Thanks for this buddy. With love from the Philippines.
There is a real attraction there, a guy who lives in a bus and makes little coloured nessies, he’s been there for 20+ years.
If nessy swims back out to the ocean, then maybe he goes inland into New England through the st Lawrence and we know him as champ
*she...
@@ftollan damn this dude just assumed Nessie’s gender… smh
@@sagel0gan sign of the times young man...
FINALLY SOMEONE WHO PRONOUNCED LOCH NESS RIGHT

I have been to Urquhart castle . beautiful place..
“It wasn’t seen again for centuries” - until someo,ne read the nonsense again and realised it would be fantastic for tourism.
Saw a tv documentary loooong time ago. Older archeologist for looking for Nesse all his life made one final sweep of the Loch and gound her and her babies corpses. Since then no one has said they’ve seen her. Who Knows???! She was a plesiosaur ☺️
@@elenacaddell3639 He found the monster and babies and decided not to tell anyone or even take a few photos? Sounds legit. 😏
You are The World’s Greatest Tour Guide🏆🏆♥️♥️🌞🌞😎😎💐💐☮️☮️🌏🌎🌍
That's the thing that chased Shaggy in that one scooby doo movie
I love seeing content from Scotland it's such a beautiful country!
I'm actually part Scottish and that's why is so interested in nessie
Nessies have been my favorite
Thank you for this!
The way he described the poor monster 🤣
I think all the war in the ocean caused the monster to fled to lochness lake and that's why when the wars over its rarely spotted again
Nessie is a nice monster.
Fun fact: Nessie is a character in super wings
I forgot about the Loch Ness monster until now
Loch Ness translates to roaring one. Possibly this is the legendary make out spot in the Scottish Highlands that turned into a legendary monster.
I went to scotland to uquart castle a month ago and during that week Nessie was seen in late July so that was close to when I was there 😮
It would be a good movie if someone would find Nessie
Watching this makes me feel so bad because we've been looking in the wrong place 😅
I wish I saw it but one day I will go see it
Loch Ness cave system is immense.
Hello from Dundee!
Watching this from Scotland Aberdeen
Scotland forever funny thing is we could literally be standing next to this geezer and he would not notice lol
wow it’s so good 🎉❤😊

Supposedly it is speculated to have possibly be an oversized Eel.
I swear this guy can teleport
I found a stargate in the depths of NYC, but don’t tell anyone 🤫

Yeah I was there once I saw I big lumb like big and it was moving forward going deeper into the water
Am i the only one who remembers the scooby doo thing of the same castle and the lochness monster
I feel like it could just be a dinosaur fr
I temember when I was young my uncle would take me spotting for nessie. Tho we never saw anything it was still fun.
This is way off topic, but this guy bears an uncanny resemblance to my father when he was young. Unfortunately my Dad passed away a year ago. 😞
My condolences for your father 🙏 hope you get to visit Scotland soon
I went on that boat years ago
It was in the 19s and it was a slumbering
Did not expect this one
Should do one on our other loch monster , morag. Loch morar monster
He wants About $3.50! LoL
If only scientists didn’t disprove the Loch Ness monster theory
Turns out all the sightings of the loch ness monster was actually just nicola sturgeon the entire time
See that big white house across water from castle. Temple pier. I lived there for a while 👍🙃
Bigfoot says "ain't no such thing, quit making up shit"!

ITS A DINOSAUR
ITS A GIRRAFE
Me: no its both
thank you for sharing your loch
I went to school called St Columba and we never knew the who what when about this Saint until 30 years later and I am watching this video
That particular photo was proven to be a hoax. I still believe there is something down there, tho.
Share the blueprints for your teleporter please.
I've been hearing about the Loch Ness since I was a kid so this monster has to be at least 150 years old by now, cool.... 😂🤣😂🤣
mate the first sighting was 1400 years ago
My home turf ❤❤❤
Would you like a battle buddy on your adventures?! I get a retiment check every month from the Army. And I too am an avid world traveler and historian
Its a fun myth and it attracts tourism.
Oh and it sells books, etc.

And people belief they are survived plesiosauruses
Probably not, but it'd be a lot cooler if it did.
dinosaurs became extinct 65 million years ago, the lake is only 10000 years old
