they were all dicks to john mainly anthony for ruining their peak fame they were all like fuck yeah we're on top of thw world while john was like going crazy and was depressed and he probably acted out for that and the resented him for it they didnt know how to deal witht he fact that he didnt wanna be their dog anymore and be their little brother they get to push around and tease who just happens to play guitar really well and was actually finding a sense of direction and realizing how stupid his childhood dreams really were in terms of his philosophy. the whole thing is just incredibly toxic.
John loved Jane’s Adiction , John Borrowed an expensive Gibson guitar from Dave , which John sold for drugs money in his addiction days , after cleaning up , later on , John gave Dave a completely new guitar .

I saw them at the Manchester Apollo in the UK during the One Hot Minute tour - I think in 95 or 96 I forget when that record came out. I was in the front row with a friend and we were getting crushed! Navarro helped get the crowd sorted out and relaxed, and he gave me his guitar pick! Frusciante will always be my favourite guitarist in that band, but I'll always cherish that moment and the pick Dave gave me :-) it was a fantastic gig.
Yeah the album was 95! I remember them doing the gigs in London and Manchester but I was too young to go 😢 They were my favourite band back then too and I absolutely adored One Hot Minute (still do). You’re lucky you got to see them on that tour. I’ve seen them 3 times, most recently last year but it’s not the same these days, they’ve mellowed so much.

With Navarro here and he apparently stopped talking with Josh after he joined (they use to be close) and he just made the band kick him out even though they could have kept him around as a rhythm or just to help in general since he was multinstrumented

No I completely agree. John is infamous for getting annoyed with interviews.. especially during this time. If he felt any certain way it's more at the band. He had mentioned it felt like someone else sleeping with his girlfriend at one point. I'm sure there was some resentment. But I don't think it was directed at Dave himself. Johns Insanely good, I’d even say much more talented than Dave, but I would rather listen to those first 3 Jane’s albums the most of everything on both bands catalogs. Although the only great Chill Pepper albums are clearly because of John.

I auditioned for that gig with RHCP, I'm from the East Coast, but made it to a 3rd Call Back, I think I didn't do drugs and lack of Tattoos lost me the Gig. Had fun out in Hollywood, my sister sent them a tape, and I got the phone call to fly out to West Hollywood, ate a lot of burritos and epinadads was a good experience just making it as far as I Did out of 100s of guitar players from around the world... I was close!!! I seen Navarro there, was a tense kinda situation... My sister woke me up one night and said she just seen me in one of the early Making of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers.... Worked out great for me and my band as we were known to be a bit Chilli- sh.... 🤘😎🤙
