The Ed Sullivan Show was a television variety program that aired on CBS from 1948-1971. For 23 years it aired every Sunday night and played host to the world's greatest talents. The Ed Sullivan Show is well known for bringing rock n' roll music to the forefront of American culture through acts like Elvis Presley, The Beatles, and The Rolling Stones. The entertainers each week ranged from comedians like Joan Rivers and Rodney Dangerfield, to Broadway stars Julie Andrews and Richard Burton, to pop singers such as Bobby Darin and Petula Clark. It also frequently featured stars of Motown such as The Supremes, The Temptations, Stevie Wonder and The Jackson 5. The Ed Sullivan Show was one of the only places on American television where such a wide variety of popular culture was showcased and its legacy lives on to this day.

What a character... he's so Adorable!! He reminds me of Dick Van Dyke in the movie 'Mary Poppins Returns.' Dick Van Dyke is dancing on the desk top at the young age of 92! We can all only hope that we would be that jolly and dancing like that. God Bless him!! Thank you for sharing! 💖

Here we have famous vaudevillian Pat Rooney Sr. performing his famous dance at 75 years old and singing a popular song written in 1894. This is a small excerpt from one of Ed's ASCAP salute shows which always featured an incredible array of show-business talent from the turn of the century up to the 1950's. This episode also starred Helen Kane, Mitch Miller, the Whiting Sisters, John Raitt and Claramae Turner, Cab Calloway, Frank Silver, Jule Styne, Jack Norworth, Will Oakland, Maude Nugent Jerome, Rose Murphy, Ernie Burnett and Billy Daniels.

According to wikipedia Pat Rooney Sr died on 03/28/1892, so this can't be him. It is probably Pat Rooney Jr.
i have a hard time doing that kick heel thing big time. must be doing it wrong. rooney good shape here for 76 but cashed in 6 years later anyway.
