For all of you wondering why the game is pretty optimized for mobile that it looks similar to the pc version, it's simple actually, *Mihoyo was a mobile game developer.* So yeah, it's pretty easy for them to optimize it for mobile if they ARE a mobile game dev lol. I'm more impressed that they can make a game to most platforms without making it look like it's for mobile.

@@yui8201 wouldn't say that for pc and ps4, on ps4 fps are capped to 30 and still drop frequently. For pc there are really less graphics options and I'm getting really low frame rates, even my phone could outperform my pc like that.

I don’t why lol, I mean my old A12 (iPhone XR), A12Z (iPad Pro) and SD 865 (Oneplus 8 Pro) all play it absolutely well with the cases on. I get 3.5 - 4 hrs continuous max but no heating complaints so far. The game developers need some serious appreciation.

@@funnylawre well for reference the latest snapdragon 8 gen 1 PLUS and Apple A15 bionic has 2.5 Teraflops of graphics power which is almost the half of PS4 PRO'S 4.9 Teraflops. So yeah it way powerful atleast from a Nintendo switch but the problem is android and ios don't have much games like Nintendo.

it's actually incredible how much detail MiHoYo crammed into the mobile version. I can't play at a stable framerate at lowest settings on my phone but that's because it's an older model with a Snapdragon 625. seen it work really well on other, newer phones. The game runs smooth too on pc at 4K and looks gorgeous

That's not bad lol. My PC's GTX titan X which I overclocked to run genshin at 4k 60fps max, gets to around 87 degrees. Heck, it stopped working a couple days before, and I suspect these temperatures are the reason lol.

I literally see no difference between Mobile and PC, even sometimes felt like the Mobile version is better than PC.
Well thats depends on developer if they want to upgrade the graphics in pc or console but i think they will leave it same platform graphics so that the cross server multiplayer dont get too many bugs or issue
To be honest, I tried playing this on a Snapdragon 450 with 4 gigs of ram and I have like 28gb+ Rom free [after installing this game]
I probably at first thought my device is going to be RiP [cuz there is a Bug/glitch in low end device like at start intro the sound comes but the video pauses] this happened to me and I was like nah it won't work but when I played it was kinda working at least Playable like probably I'll use lowest graphics.
Anyways there are FPS drops while fighting and while Exploring Open world it's pretty laggy in between tho It is running good, I just loved the game only there should be few more Optimization on Low end devices.

biggest most noticable differences are sharpness and object geometry (PC got more Polygon count) and texture quality.
I have a Poco M2. The fact that it only lags every once in a while, speaks for the optimization of this huge game. Totally worth playing.

The graphics in the pc version are kind of more immersive than mobile version, but still they managed to give such great graphics in a mobile

The colors on mobile look oversaturated. On PC it looks much more natural. Also, objects in the distance are sharper on PC than mobile. I was surprised that the water effects are pretty similar on both though. Water effects are usually harder to render.
Biggest difference is draw distance and textures by far, huge gap in texture detail

Because the CPU on the ps4 is very weak. This game is not that graphically intense, but need a decent CPU. And the CPU is the worst part about the PS4 (it's even weaker than the PS3).

Edit: You don't actually need a CPU That new. Even some Older CPUs like 3770 or 4460 could do it well.
So on 1080p, Even GT 1030 could run it Ultra 60 fps.
I prefer Mobile when Daylight and PC when Nighttime. They looks beautiful!
Do you see how the trees are slightly more blurry on mobile? Well, what's happening is the the trees have suddenly become 2D. But, not all mobiles are like that. As long as you have iphone 10 and up, it'll prob not be a problem for you. Any model below may have a few here and there, but giving it some time will turn it back to normal.
The first time I ran into a 2d tree I was hella confused 😭 You have to give it a moment to load sometimes.

The advantages of playing in a pc or a mobile
Pc: its obviously better in graphics, render distance, etc... but you cant carry your pc everywhere and maybe miss out grinding stuff in that time
Mobile: it has good graphics, fps and all but not better then the pc but you can carry it anywhere you want to go and never miss grinding stuff in that time
(both pc and mobile have it's pros and cons)

When my phone battery is low (39%), the volume sounds low too, but when it's 100%-40% the sound is perfectly fine (sometimes). I think it's because of water going inside my phone, I use wet tissue on the back of my phone to cool it down while im playing Genshin. So, it's kinda My own fault 😐. If you're wondering, yes Im still playing Genshin🙂 (Sorry for my bad English)

ye, here's the thing you shouldn't even be able to see the difference between them just because phones have smaller screen, so as it should be the same. But it's not ackin okay graphical calculations are reduced on 60% in comparison with dekstop version (I just was able to saw an unbiased testing of both of them on the one system, and that what we got from analysis). 60% more GPU performance for little rock change? I guess .. . .it should worth it I guess

Thakfully, my phone doesn't heat that mucj when playing this game. Sucks at aiming though, so I always shy away from Bow users.

I just downloaded genshin on my ipad because I waited a literal day to download it on my pc for my verification to get denied and then it restarted the process.

@NazarioCharlie depends on the device tho... Played on my snapdragon 855+ device with 60fps constantly
The big difference is ambient occlusion drug distance and better Shadow mapping for the PC. They also put a darkening effect around the character model kind of like how Nintendo did for Xenoblade Chronicles 2 in undock mode. If you notice while they're walking around there's a lot of pop in on the mobile version where is the PC just renders it. Overall it looks like it's a good game on mobile though.

The fact that it isn't on switch is super disappointing but hopefully early next year it comes

The thing about the switch is that it can only run games at 30fps at 720p which is not that good. For some games like smash bros that is ok I guess but if your going to play this game just play it on your phone.

As a mobile player I can agree that playing with a character with a bow weapon is indeed hard especially when Fighting a Pyro or Cryo Regisvine or Ruin guards
The graphical optimization for this game it's just very good looking on mobile, but the big trade for that it's the stuttering, specially on lower spec phones that are just terrible how it stops for nearly a second to respond to the controls.
I hope that mihoyo can mitigate this problem specially for those potatoes out there.

As a guy who discovered the ways this specific game works I will say you're not right. This game mostly utilizes CPU abilities rather GPU.. You know what I mean? A HUGE part of also a graphics optimisation realisation is achieved by using CPU abilities, not GPU. So mostly you'll get stuttering if: You got a bad CPU, you're 3 - 4 GiB RAM, or a really bad internal storage (or any another if you managed to set it up on there like MicroSD card or External SSD 🤡🤮)
@@valerafox7795 I've realised a lot of tests in different phones (and PCs aswell) that moved the game as a slideshow aswell as those which were (kinda) fully capable. The fact that determines the more FPS you get in a game is mostly the GPU capabilities as it's doing mostly 3D calculations and making all the looks of the enviorment. The CPU bareley has any effect (most of the time is around 5 to 25%) as it's doing only more mathematical calculations of movement of the character and things that are more lighter as for example where to put all the stuff in the scene, etc.
And stuttering issues were due to the loading capabilities in-game as it generated a huge spike in GPU usage aswell as it was not retaining in the RAM the content loaded, I've seen these days to have mitigated that issue in this new version.
Nowadays any modern phones (even the potatoes ones) have reasonable fast storage, so fast as it is nearly as fast to a SATA SSD speeds rather than an HDD.
The real problem that really comes to all the stuttering issues that I have been researching these months as it's due to the battery-friendly modes that some phones have such as Power saving mode or the battery optimization setting burried in to the settings. If you disable all of these battery optimizations your phone could run better at the cost of sacrificing your battery.
Though with all of this the optimization it's still far worse than it's on PC, as you can run pretty comfortable with an iGPU and not so much RAM. Even the top smartphones of this year have some trouble running this game flawlessly at 60fps.

But a really easily understandable thing is that mobile devices will never be prioritized to have a good GPU, so that's mostly the reason you could see a GPU bottlenecking(. In the tests I did, I found out CPU does much more easing work for GPU than the Windows one, they loaded the CPU up to 40% in some worst cases( But, the really nicest thing that also completely approves your tests is that CPU tries to remain the power for GPU frameburst rate (supporting the stable FPS), what is not the thing it can support sometimes actually () But mostly ye, on the phones you will see the GPU bottlenecking, as they got the worser GPUs than the mid Intel iGraphics().
