I'm new to Racing and find your videos a great source of information. I've purchased a Schumacher Cougar LD2 and will Start building it today. It's the Mod Spec I've no upgrades just standard buggy kit. Look forward to seeing more videos soon Take care Jenny
Hi Trish. I now run Schumacher cars moving from Losi after bad experience with a 22-4. I love the k1 aero and l1. Has Schumacher ever considered a shaft drive buggy or will it always be belt for the brand. Cheers.. Alan
That’s a really good question as the L1 does not have droop screws in the obvious locations. I’d like to know as well as I have just built mine last month.
I sold all my TLR cars last year (thinking i was never getting back into racing). I always have raced on carpet. Then recently got the LD2, and out of the box i think its the best carpet car i've ever driven. I hope after some track time and other modifications i can make it the best carpet car i have ever driven. I have a question regarding belt-driven vs just the gears like the new 22x-4, the AE 4wd, Xray 4wd....really any other modern 4wd seems to be all gears now and have gone away from the belt driven cars. What is the reason for that, and the Evo1 still being belt driven does anyone see a lack in performance compared to the other modern 4wd 1/10 cars? Thank you.
I agree🧐 The body doesn’t do the car justice; it deserves a much cooler stealthy look with better lines , I always thought the Durango DEX410V5 had such a killer body design🧐
Travis Bishop The Tamiya TRF 502/511 as an example of something that can be made to look good or even Yokomo MR4 BX/ Team Azarashi make some great shells. Come on Trish you can make them better 😎👍
I will do a video and show how easy it is. With the New belts they will be much stronger so you wont be getting stressed so much. Farò un video e mostrerò quanto sia facile. Con le nuove cinture saranno molto più forti, quindi non ti stresserai così tanto.
What a bloody great bloke.
Great intro😉
Aidan RC always learning 😉
Great Vid Trish!
Hopefully I will have an EVO in my hands soon =)
"click on that button, it doesn't hurt you" LOL ...hahaha.... well-said!

Great video Trish
“Marmalade On Toast” 😋Delicious ; Mayby just a splash of Natella with that marmalade 😚
Loved seeing your videos over the past few months & this is another great one 👍
Keep up the good work & Merry Christmas 🎄
MERRY CHRISTMAS TRISH!! :-))
Holy shit! That car is a serious bit of kit, ugly little bugger though, I find that with all modern buggys.
Trish, great info as always! What are the spur gear sizes for the stock conversion?
Mel Marks at the moment we have 76 and 71 which should cover 13.5 and 10.5 gear ratios
Ok! Just as the LD. Is there a chance you could have a 80 or 81 spur in the future? Thank you 😊
Mel Marks the kit LD spur fits the stock lay shaft as the holes are there ready for it so you can fit it if you want that gear
I'd buy that pit mat if you guys sold them.

What situations would you run the gear box spacer?
Great video Trish. How do you set your droop?

So will the body from the L1 fit the new evo chassis?
Any word on a new kit
Can you put evo parts on a standard L1?
It’s beautifully engineered but looks overly complicated.
Passen 5mm zahnriemen auch auf Cat L1?
passt denke ich auch aber ich würd es nicht machen da der riemen übersteht und dadurch probleme entstehen können...
i differenziali sono diversi
The 5mm belts do not fit the L1 as the EVO has lots of parts changed to allow this to happen.
On a separate note, maybe you should consider a more aesthetic rear cab. Front cabs just look ugly.

Ma se rompi una cinghia specialmente quella anteriore ti metti le mani nei capelli..... Ci va un casino di tempo a cambiarla???
