It seems to me that some time after Brexit, the BBC were not allowed to refer to 'Brexit' or explain any subsequent problems as being caused by Brexit. The even edited out the word Brexit from journalists' reports. They don't mention it these days even though problems persist.
All we heard about was brexit negotiations for months.. now we have the LEMON scam implemented it's as if the problems are suez canal, war in Ukraine or lets not forget covid! Now that the rest of the world is recovering.. it's not brexit thats the problem is it?
Radio 4 did a long piece on the problems facing farmers the other day, in 14 minutes they didn't mention Brexit once !

I do not mind if BBC sticks to a standard, especially if this now reaches a supposed global audience... as such. But I do have a problem with their boards and their structures as such. And definitely do have an issue, if an outsider of the UK can access or watch these programmes, without paying a fee. They should have to pay a fee !!!

I've noticed the BBC becoming increasingly biased and avoiding broadcasting any criticism of Brexit. This saddens me because I've trusted the beeb for years over and above any other provider. I rarely bother with BBC news any more because my trust in them has evaporated.

It's not a state broadcaster in the way that it's somehow controlled by the government or the state - it's an independent broadcaster which is funded by a national TV Licence but the State has no actual control over its output.

The BBC is governed by a charter which states that news items must adhere to political impartiality but this has been ignored over the last three decades because it has been infiltrated by Marxists. The Tories are simply bring the BBC back to the centre because the licence paying public are sick and tired of having left wing propaganda rammed down their throats.
The alternative is to abolish the BBC.

Every broadcaster and newspaper has its own bias. As the BBC is funded by public funds it has to be unbiased. The only way to resolve the apparent conflict between these two statements is to remove public funding from the BBC. Once the BBC is wholly funded by advertising or subscription it can be as biased as it likes the same as every other media provider.

BBC journalists are definitely biased but it's towards the modern Liberal left . Emily Maitlis is pissed... she was riding a wave of adulation after 'that interview' and suddenly she's deemed unprofessional and her career is in jeopardy. This is her response... to dig and claw her way out of it.
She's not the smartest, most diplomatic person in the 'show business' of modern news presenters.
But she was on 'three hundred and twenty five thousand' a year at the BBC - so maybe she's right to be so pissed off.
It's sad that people on both sides of the political spectrum say that the BBC is biased.
