What you called a potato masher is used for cutting butter or shortening into flour when you make pie crusts, not sure if it was actually a potato masher as well. I wish we had sales like that here. 😊
I remember that Easter egg decorating kit from when I was a little kid. We made coloured eggs with my parents and then they hid them on Easter morning. 🤗
Purim it is our Holiday to celebrate Queen Esther and not being annihilated by the Persian Empire. Costumes are part of the revelry. Maybe why the noise makers had a star of David?
I was born in 1957 and I love anything that reminds me of family members that are no longer here. Grandma loved Christmas. Her house was decorated like a wonderland for us kids. Literally EVERYTHING had christmas covers and decorations on it. So vintage Christmas is my ultimate favorite items to pick up at garage sales and thrift shops.
I couldn’t believe you found Revere ware. That was my first set 35 years ago. I bought it at Caldor. They had it incorrectly priced for 19.99. Was supposed to be 119.99. They gave it to me for the price marked 19.99. Just converted over to Le Creuset a few years ago. It will last you for many years. Great find!👍🏻
That was another great estate sale! When they have that much left on day two and three, it is best to fill your bag like you two did because they want to get rid of as much as possible. You came away with some nice things to use like those pans and also some nice things to resell. Thanks for sharing!
I remember having that Paas Easter egg kit in the 60’s! So cute. I have a small collection of the Scotch tape tins that I display in an old wooden spice rack.
That's so funny, I have the green handled pastry cutter you got. I love it and use it every time I make pie. Of course the paint on mine is pristine. Those thin wires are better for mixing dough than the modern thicker metal types. I always take care to hand wash it and dry it as soon as I'm done using it. It's lasted for years. Love those red devil scrapers too! Fun find!
Those noise makers were definitely Halloween themed, just not in the traditional colors one would expect. I saw a similar one on-line that sold for $150.
Kitchen reminds me of my grandparents kitchen. I think it was ‘50s but could have been ‘40s. Don’t know when it had been renovated. It was a Victorian house from 1909 but they bought it 1949. Don’t know if they renovated it, and never heard from my mom about that who just died a few months back.
You cannot beat Revere Ware original. They are not only tough quality yet light, the nest better and they are more compact in design including the edges and handles, they fit so much better than other pots (whether fancy expensive or cheap) bath in cabinets and dishwashers! That’s what I grew up on and thats what I still insist on finding even if they unfortunately ended up being Indonesian in build.

Back in my 1960's Home Economics days we called this a pastry cutter😊
@@BettyVincent-oi6sp I still use mine to make pie dough

The pots were great. Happy you found them - they are the best!
That house was amazing! I hope whoever buys it doesn't destroy the kitchen! 😢 Good choice on the pots and pans . They will last forever.
I hope so too! Thank you!

that cutter you weren’t sure about is a tomato slicer. I remember my mom had one when I was a kid back in the 60s.
Oh cool! What a good idea, tomatoes are a plain to slice 😂 thanks for watching!
I also use the tomato slicer to cut jellied cranberry sauce into uniform slices.
My mom has a full set of the Revereware pots and pans from 1966 and they still look like new. Great finds. That house was like a museum. 😂
Not a potato masher. It is a tool when baking to incorporate the cold butter into the flour. To break the cold butter into tiny pieces.
It cracks me up when young people don’t know what certain kitchen tools are.😂
I was born in 1960 and I definitely remember that Paas Easter kit. I loved them as a little kid.😊
Great finds! I loved the drawers of candles and such in the kitchen.

Hello, In 1978 I received a set of pans for my wedding. Exactly the ones you’ve bought. Great pans! I still have mine and
That’s awesome! They don’t make that kind of quality anymore, we’re happy to give the pans a second life!
@susannacervantes I too got married in 1978 and also have the set of Revere Ware. Still have the pans, and the husband🤪
Hey I love that kitchen, too! It is awesome. My grandparents kitchen looked similar to that, they built the house in the '50s!
I remember having that Paas Easter egg kit in the 60’s! So cute. I have a small collection of the Scotch tape tins that I display in an old wooden spice rack.
I love your videos! It is always so much fun to see what you purchased! Thank you!
A Perfect Past Tense Home❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤. True Vintage Galore with Marvelous Pricing🥰. GREAT VIDEO AND GREAT CONTENT. THUMBS-UP ALWAYS!!!!!!
Very cool stuff … crazy how things can sit in a house for 4-5 decades 😮
That other Easter egg kit was by Rit dye company - they don't (haven't) made egg kits in years!
Good afternoon Jeannine and Laura.
Hello 👋 ☺️
There’s an even older design of that noise maker style where the dancers and objects around them are just black silhouettes on an orange background.
That sounds so cool!

HELLO AMAZING WALK THROUGH & THAT HOUSE ALONG WITH ALL THE VINTAGE BEAUTIFULLY TIME CAPSULE ❤
Those noise makers were definitely Halloween themed, just not in the traditional colors one would expect. I saw a similar one on-line that sold for $150.
They could be for the Jewish holiday Purim.
this is SO COOL!!!.....you must have felt like you stepped back in time?.......such a wonderful experience!!....
Awesome time capsule of a house!

You all found some good stuff. You both say cool a lot 😂😂😂
A time capsule for sure! It's so cool to see these awesome finds! Love watching your videos!! 😊
Thank you so much for watching!
Great sale! The house I grew up in had the same formica, in a different color. Of course, I didn't know how cool it was, at the time. 😁

The cutter is for slicing tomatoes.
That one tool with a red handle may be used to cut hard boiled eggs for a Cobb salad
All the Revere ware!
I love my Revere Ware!
I insist you show us your goblins...
Maybe those noise makers are like a grogger for the Jewish holiday of Purim
I think that the rabbit's onday Easter egg dye container is from Richard. Scary, check it, Out
Did you say there was a Jewish star on the noisemakers? If so, maybe they were for the holiday known as Purim.
That a tomato slicer
❤️🙃
