Shit, I actually forgot to add my intro. Anyway, loving Rolling Quartz, I know they just released a new song, I hope to check it out sometime soon! Anyway, I'm actually feeling a bit worse than when I recorded this video yesterday so I'm surprised that I only forgot about the intro and nothing else.
Yeong Eun did a drum cover of Lovesick Girls. Before that, I didn’t know who BlackPink was. They also did a stage performance cover of Good Night by Dreamcatcher. Which they just did a studio MV of. I got into KPop because of these girls and my life is better for it. I owe them a debt.
Oh, remembered you mentioned metalcore. You should check out Synsnake. Especially anything from their latest album, Fluxus. Only 4.75k subs on RUclips. So if you can react to them, maybe some more might sub. They need all the help they can get!
So now you've done Rolling Quartz there is 2 things you must check out... Number 1 Alexa and Rolling Quartz performing a rock version of Alexa's song Xtra and Number 2 is Rolling Quartz's version of Good Night by Dreamcatcher😁🔥
Rolling Quartz are so good. They just released a remake of Dreamcatcher's Good Night today. Funfact: The drummer, Yeongeun, used to be Handong's drum teacher
Well done for getting the "art - start" moment, very few reactors have caught this. And your expressions perfectly conveyed your appreciation of both their musical talent and their beauty.
It is nice to see more rock based K-pop groups, thanks to the influence of Dreamcatcher. Rolling Quartz is great and I love this song. Fun fact, the start of K-Pop actually has a metal connection. The group that started K-Pop is widely considered to be Seo Taiji and Boys. Before Seo Taiji started the group, he was a member of Sinawe. which was Korea's first metal band. After Seo Taiji and the Boys disbanded, his solo stuff would again return to his metal roots.
Rolling Quartz is actually a K-Rock girl band, instead of a K-Pop group. So, you can always expect those awesome solo. I loves their music as much as I loves Dreamcatcher sounds. Having Rolling Quartz do a cover of Dreamcatcher's Good Night is just perfection to me. I hope you can do a reaction to that cover in the future. Thanks for the reaction!
I love this song ...and your reactions are always so nice and interesting .... you should also check out other K pop/rock bands like Day 6, The Rose or N.Flying
I had no idea who they were and I'm now I'm in love with them! Thanks for doing thsi reaction, otherwise I don't think I would've found them! Also, get better soon! 🖤🖤
As well as Rolling Quartz' main channel, four out of the five members (vocalist Jayoung, drummer Yeongeun, and guitarists Iree and Hyunjung) all have their own individual RUclips channels, where they post covers and practices that really show off their range. And while bassist Arem doesn't have a YT channel, she does post short bass covers (and her ukulele practice sessions) on her Instagram...
This song actually reminded me of Highschool of the Dead by Kishida Kyoudan and the Akeboshi Rockets (you should listen to them on your spare time, they released 2021 version of it!). Get well soon!
i noticed that you like songs with meaning and good instrumental so i can suggest you to check bands like DAY6 and FTIsland. DAY6 doesn't have bad songs but my favorites are 'i need somebody', 'zombie', 'you make me'. they have really good songs, but just for starters, you can check these masterpieces.
Not sure if anyone else has mentioned, but Yeong Eon (drummer) started out as a guitar student, until a teacher helped push her to the drums. So (my interpretation) she throws the stick at the mirror and stares herself down in the fractured reflection in sort of acceptance and then later in the MV she's dragging the old guitar, throwing it against the wall, and then setting it on fire. Like, "my confidence is now in being a badass drummer, and that is OK, but yeah it cost me something to get here". Again, just my impression.
Oh, right, Arem (bassist) also wanted to be a singer but supposedly can't carry a tune, so I love how often she and Yeong Eon are just the two of them killing bridges in this song.
OLE!!!!!
Omg I love how you‘re currently reacting to all my favorite groups (Dreamcatcher, mamamoo and now them)! As others mentioned they released a new song yesterday which is technically not new because it‘s a cover of „Good night“ by Dreamcatcher👀 It was Dc‘s first comeback and second part of their nightmare arc after their debut with „Chase me“ 🥰 Rolling Quartz has a lot of covers too, which gained them a lot of publicity before debuting!
This track is good, but their live performances show that they have a lot higher ceiling. This is a decent recording, but the drums sound distant and dull. I understand, because they are from a smaller company that was what they could afford. As they grow in popularity and support (much of it from outside Korea) we'll see much more from them. The clips from their new project are much better than this.
Gotta check out the new stuff! Think they have a legit chance of being the biggest girl band ever! What's hotter than Black Pink? Black Pink with guitars! Great Reaction!😊😎🤘🤘🤘🤘
I love Rolling Quartz. Their cover of "Azalea" is probably my favourite song at the moment. They are certainly good musicians, but they are not great musicians - but they don't need to be to play the music they do. If you want to see truly great musicians, you need to check out the Japanese all girl metal band Lovebites.
Hi DG, since you are checking a rock band, I would like to suggest VINCIT, which is also a Korean rock band with female vocal :D ruclips.net/video/l28rgzfXhhY/видео.html
But if you had an intro the video wouldn't be exactly 10 minutes long.
I didn't even notice that hehe

Duuuude, they just released a cover of Dreamcatcher's Good Night
It's INCREDIBLE
Interesting how you post Blaze reaction today. They just released new MV
I've been meaning to check them out for about a month now hehe and they have been suggested months ago, it's a cool coincidence :)
So now you've done Rolling Quartz there is 2 things you must check out...

한국 대중가요에 대해 잘아시네요 해외케이팝팬중에서 서태지를 아시는분은 처음보는것 같음
Aye, Seo Taiji and Boys, Generation Zero of kpop. True legends.
Omg I'm so happy today they released their first mini album I hope you r react to their songs more in the future

I'm so happy you've finally check out my girls! Thank you for noticing them
I have been wanting to listen to them for a while now. After watching this, I’m going to listen to them more. This is just amazing!
Stan Rolling Quartz! Stan Dreamcatcher! Stan Iree!!
Thanks for the reaction. I like the sound of this group.
I love this song ...and your reactions are always so nice and interesting

My girls!!! I'm so excited I really want more people to listen to them. Their online concerts are super fun, I highly recommend watching!
Наконец-то 👏🏽 знала что они тебе понравятся !!! Спасибо что оценил 👌🏽
better late than never hehe, I'm happy I finally checked them out!
I had no idea who they were and I'm now I'm in love with them! Thanks for doing thsi reaction, otherwise I don't think I would've found them!

Thank you Maria, and I'm glad you enjoyed the song and became a fan!

It instantly made me think of The Offspring "The Kids Aren't Alright " when I heard that riff. It's different but it reminds me of it
yes ! finally I found somebody who thinks the same, is hard to find people who knows The offspring in this world of Korean music
@@cloudsterling3095 great minds!!!!
Your editing is so great, on top of everything else I like about your channel!
I appreciate that James, thank you!!
@@DGReacts You are very welcome! :)

MUCHAS GRACIAS POR DAR ESPACIO A ESTA BANDA QUE TIENE UN POTENCIAL ENORME.
ROLLING QUARTZ SON GENIALES
rolling quartz tiene una colaboración con alexa... muy buena

Covers are always a great way of getting some publicity and show off your range, that's awesome!

Pls, React to Woodz - ACCIDENT live ver and Woodz - FEEl LIKE I really wanted to know your opinion on the songs, he is an excellent solo artist.

Rolling Quartz is great. After you are done with them, break out the BABYMETAL and Asterism.
