    I want the smoke for sunny and it looks badass AF. But my main concern is low light so I want the infrared. But I can't get them together. Even as maybe the most expensive goggle on the market I'd still have to go and buy a third lense. I contacted Burton direct and even though they've got access to all lenses they still won't provide the customer what he wants. I maybe wrong pairing these two but surely that's my prerogative?

    Looking for new goggles and the m4 looks awesome. I’m curious why, when you’re showing the contrast of the low light lenses, it’s done on a sunny day? Doesn’t make any sense. I live in Oregon and ski on Mt. Hood and rarely have full all day sun. You need to show the low light lenses on an actual cloudy, snowy/ rainy day. Thanks!

    • @sportrxeyewear
      @sportrxeyewear  3 года назад

      Honestly, either would be great. When you consider the VLT of these compared to a lot of other low light snow lenses out there, this is on the high (more light) end of the range. If you are looking for the most light, then go for the Cloudy Pink. You would likely not be able to tell the difference between the two if you were to compare the two side-by-side.

      Their polarized lenses are pretty rare these days with the focus on their Perceive lens tech. We haven't had our hands on a pair, but we find that the polarized lenses make it harder to decipher ice from snow because it cuts the glare that you normally get bouncing off of the ice. While it is not the same thing, there is little info directly comparing the two. I have tried on the Anon M4 and it felt like the peripheral vision wasn't even that good. I have compared it to the Oakley Flight Deck and the Atomic count 360 hd. Especially the Atomic Count had a WAY better Field of fiew. Maybe thats because of the thinner frame of these goggles? But thin frames might result in fogging right? Hi SportRx team and Mark Wakeling - Thank you very much for this video!! That's all I wanted in a lens guide :) I really liked the swivel views of the goggles, and especially the lens view overlays on snow. That was great timing based on my comment/query on same topic on this video: ruclips.net/video/-GmjJzv7oqo/видео.html . I'll probably get the SONAR Red or Green + SONAR Infrared or Night, with the M4, and check out the rx inserts. All of the lenses look great though based on conditions you need them for! Best,

    Is there a difference between SONAR and VIVID

      This is Mark from Anon. Both Sonar and Vivid are made by Zeiss, but Sonar was Zeiss's snow specific lens tints. I feel Sonar has a bit more contrast than Vivid personally.

    Any concerns with the lenses popping off in a crash?

    • @sportrxeyewear
      @sportrxeyewear  4 года назад

      Hi there! I am sure if you crash hard enough they will pop off. But tat that point you will have more to worry about than just your goggles...The magnetic interchange is awesome and having the lens fall off isn't something you should have to worry about!

      I own it. The magnets are pretty strong. You would have to crash REALLY hard to get them to pop off. Not a concern imo.

    Going skiing in Banff in Feb, what would be the best overall lens for the conditions there?

      Hey, Lake Louise is my home mountain. If you need just one lense I would recommend the Bronze or Green. We tend to have very few clouds so the you want something that leans toward the sunny side of the spectrum. However, two lenses is smartest. I would pack a bluebird in the top four (Silver mirror to Bronze) and a lowlight (Sonar Blue to Infrared Mirror).
      I personally run 3 lenses on my Anon M2, the Bluebird Silver, the Midrange Green, and the Infrared Mirror.
      Hope that helps!

      Tekoa Semeniuk thanks for the response! Can’t wait to go to Lake Louise, looks incredibly picturesque! I was leaning towards the Green initially but was toying with a 3rd lens but wasn’t sure whether to go for a Bluebird lens or Whiteout, so thanks for that! How have you found your Anon goggles and lenses? And do you have any idea how they compare to Oakley Prizm? Was originally going to get the flight decks but the Anon M4 really peaked my interest with their lens changing system and integrated MFI!

      @@glenadams3768 No problem, its a gorgeous mountain with a good range of difficulty and features.
      I love my Anons, they're super comfortable. I've heard Oakley's Prizm is the best there is, the lenses are huge and colors pop brightly, but what sold me on Anon was the quickchange lense system and the MFI. I always ride with a facemask and the ability to just pop it on and off of my goggles was so handy. It works like a charm and is just as easy and convenient as advertised. Wouldn't trade them to any other brand.
      Honestly I don't think you can go wrong with either brand, just depends on which features are more important to you

      Hello! No, they are different size goggles and do not use the same lenses. The 'S' signifies a smaller size.
