This video is exactly what I needed, I am 6 years from moving to Thailand, I don't have a Thai wife, I just like the country, and I really don't like Australia, 6 years time I will be sold up, packed up and basically doing what I want to do not what I have to do... your video was great.. keen to see things like getting your license, getting bank accounts etc.. general stuff but interested in the process.. how you move money from Australia to thai bank
I'm really glad that you enjoyed it. I know how you feel mate. I was I your shoes for 13 years of wanting to get out of Australia and move to Thailand. If it wasn't for the recent property boom in Adelaide, I'd still be stuck in Adelaide for another 3 years!! I have another video that I briefly tall about getting my Thai bike and car licence's Here's a link. ruclips.net/video/HGbsUskQJHI/видео.html Be patient mate, there is a light at the end of the tunnel, and it's not a train, lol. Thanks for watching and again, I'm glad you enjoyed my video😊
Cheers mate, I'm enjoying learning how to film and edit, I've got a lot to learn. hopefully my videos will get better and I will learn hiw to edit faster over time😊
Congratulations on your big move. I like you, have experienced the whole COVID period when we were unable to visit. My big move happens next year, so I will be eager to hear and watch your experiences. Congratulations and enjoy your new life

I'm only 10 mins into the vid so far but it's awesome to see how you've covered everything involved in moving overseas. All the best for your new adventure mate!
Thanks for watching mate. Glad you enjoyed it. I'm in the process of filming a first 6 months of retirement in Thailand video. if that's something you are interested in, please consider subscribing to my Channel. Enjoy the rest of your day😀
Ah, should have watched this one first. Adelaide boy hey? Grew up and lived there for over 40 years before moving to QLD. Good on you for the big migration. Glad to see you have a good Thai partner at your side. Makes a big difference I’d bet. Great vid, mate.
Yeah lived in Adelaide for 55 years, Northern suburbs. Noi is a wonderful woman. She's the woman of my dreams! Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed it 😊
Gday mate. I live in Adelaide too. Lightsvew, not far from you at Valley View (I saw your Ray White sign in the video). Hope all is going well with your lady and your big move to Thailand. Your video popped up in my recommended list. I'm a new subscriber now... Take care mate. Great video and I look forward to watching more to come... 🍺👍
how did you go with your flight , did you buy a return or one way ? I just had a look at a oneway business class from Perth to BBK = $2,900. or return $4,000. ........ better as a one way as will be there full time but expensive , same as an economy ticket
Hey mate, I wanted to arrive in Bangkok in the morning. If there was an overnight flight from Adelaide to Singapore and Bangkok I would have done that. Also I just wanted to spoil myself a little, lol. I want to go down to Hau Hin soon and do a few videos from a rerirees point of view. Thanks for watching.😀
I am living in Adelaide and and going to do the same. Australia isn’t the place I grew up in & is no negative and expensive nowadays. I plan to get rid of all my possessions over the next 2yrs, clean and paint before selling my house. Buy my kids a unit near the CBD , then move to Hua Hin Thailand 👍🙏🇦🇺
Yep I'm hearing you mate. Australia is nothing like it was growing up. A lot of people had had enough and want to get out. Have you spent a decent amount of time in Thailand before? if not my advice would be to come here and spend say 3 months here to make sure it's for you. Hau hin is a very popular retirement place. I intend on going there soon to make a video or two from a retirement point of view. Thanks for watching, glad you liked it.
@@SABAI15 yes been travelling to Thailand every year since 2009. Have friends in Hua Hin & have always said that will be my retirement home. I have travelled all over Thailand and will be back in June
Ah OK so you know exactly what it's like here then. Mate, moving to Thailand has been the best thing I have ever done!! You will love life here and I reckon you know you will love it here.
Well, if I had a dollar fir every time I have been asked that question I'd have rich, lol. It's a difficult one to answer properly. It comes down the lifestyle you want to live. I personally can do it on $1,000AUD a month if we don't do much and just mainly relax at home. When we travel and go out a lot of course it can be a lot more. It just depends on the lifestyle you want t to live here. If you are big drinker it's gonna cost you. Thanks for watching 😁
Yeah I've lost just over 20kg since then. Have a look at this video, there is a side by side comparison of then and now ruclips.net/video/nP5Gbz3aMm8/видео.html Thanks for watching 😊

You should have kept unit and rented it out. Very cheap rentals in Thailand
Thanks for your input, but for my situation selling was the best option.
