Purple vs Casper Mattress Review | Which Bed Is Better? In this video, Owen who is a Certified Sleep Science Coach, covers our updated Casper vs Purple mattress review for 2022. He compares each bed in a box in detail so you decide which mattress in a box is best for you.
Purple: This is a very unique mattress that incorporates a patented material called Hyper-Elastic Polymer. This material gives the bed a gel-like feel that is quite different than traditional online beds. Purple also calls this material the GelFlex Grid. The polymer material is pressure relieving and responsive and is a big reason why we think the bed comfortably accommodates sleepers in all positions (side, back and stomach). Purple also offers three different hybrid mattresses (Purple Hybrid, Purple Hybrid Premier) as well in case you prefer coil beds or you're a heavier person. Casper: This is a comfortable foam mattress that lands around medium on the firmness scale. The bed isn't too soft or too firm. As such, all types of sleepers, including side sleepers, back sleepers and stomach sleepers seem to find the bed comfortable and supportive. Like Purple, Casper offers hybrid beds as well including the Casper Original Hybrid, Casper Wave Hybrid and Casper Nova Hybrid.

I love my original Casper mattress. I’d like to try purple.
I bought a Casper original hybrid today. I wanted a purple hybrid but not for $3000 my friend had a purple mattress but he doesn’t remember what # it was. I laid on it was awesome.
It was so expensive but the purple mattress was great . I actually sleep so good now

I wish the "unique feel" was better explained. I didn't find this explanation on Purple was very helpful.
I had a chance to test both beds at Nebraska furniture Mart. I found his review of the Casper mattress spot on. Compared to the 100 other beds I tested that day, The purple mattress filt weird and unnecessary and it was also very expensive. Like this reviewer said; you either hated it or loved it - I hated it. I will be buying the Casper hybrid.
It's like laying on top of a sci-fi/cyber grid.
You can (surprisingly) tell that the grid has holes in it.
purple queen hybrid $2.300. ouch what happened to the $900 bed?
That would be their New Day mattress, springless.
Their hybrids have always been rather pricey.

I'm not a fan of purple mattress.
I have slept on the couch for the past year because my girlfriend got a purple mattress. Absolutely destroyed my neck, like sleeping on a foot gel pad. I look forward to burning it in my backyard
U got issues bud. Maybe ur girlfriend bought a Chinese knockoff? Ive never spoken to anyone who had issues with back or neck pain. In fact its the quite opposite. Ppl are usually relieved

Have heard nothing but praise for their other models.
