I'm viewing this quite late. Wonderful car display. Outstanding all the different makes and models. You have yet to come across one of my favorite cars, and that is a German 1970s NSU RO 80. A very rare car now. I like their design. They had a rotary engine. Also another car is a Renault 16 , maybe one will turn up at a show soon. There wouldn't be many 2 door Morris Marinas around anymore like the yellow one with the black vinyl roof.

I admire anyone who makes any videos for RUclips so well done . I will say though Harley that it would be , I think , amazing if you were commentating but how you would talk to your pals about what you are seeing . Great to have a younger take on these fantastic motors. I like your. Dads commentary too.

Well done Harley if it was not for you and your sense of humour I doubt whether I could muster a show like this as the majority of the owners all look like they have just received their gas bills, people like Harley are promoting your classic cars, at least try to interact with him. Sorry Harvey feel better now it`s off my chest !

Harley, the Lotus was either the Eclat or Elite The original design named the Elite has a hatchback; the Éclat came along soon afterwards with a boot. I couldn't tell in the video which version it was.

44:22 - That American car is a LaSalle. General Motors. 1940 [ which was the last year for the LaSalle brand].
These were made along side Cadillac, and was sold as a separate brand, one notch down from Cadillac, but above Buick. [ 1927-1940].
52:25. This Plymouth is similar to what was used in the Steven King movie “Christine” [ 1978] - Horror movie about a killer car.

The black Ford was a Mk4 Zodiac. Zodiacs had 4 headlights, Zephyrs had 2. The P5 Rover Coupes were four doors. The only visible difference between the coupes and the saloons was the lower roofline. There wasn't a two door coupe.

    1:23:32 -
Chrysler brought the Hilman Avenger into the U.S. as a Plymouth Cricket. Unfortunately, with everything they had to do to meet U.S. Emissions standards, they just wouldn’t run right. So they had to quit, and go with Mitsubishi. A shame. They were/are a neat little car.
    - - Oh, and the 1959 Cadillac, is actually a 1960. Different front and back. Also different tail lights.
1:24:07 - the Pontiac G.T.O. “JUSGE”, is a very rare. Baddest of the Bad Boys.
    455 ci. H.O. V8, Ram-Air, 335 horse power/ 480 pound ft. Torque.
    [ 7.45 liters].
Only about 10,000 (?) were made in 3 years.
    📻🙂

Great video Harley - so much content. BTW, that Consul Classic was actually a Capri ! The green Humber hawk was fabulous - my favourite era of motoring - such style. That second Citroen Avant'e Hatchback is a real rarity - WOW ! Well done for another brilliant review of the show. Thanks for sharing. Take care 🙂

Love your commentary, Harley! From the states, we, naturally, never see such diversity of models an marques at so many different shows, and you have the enthusiasm found only on Hollywood red carpets over here! One small comment: I have seen that, or a similar "1959" Cadillac in the conga line entering several British shows, and it's actually a 1960 model. One has to do research to suss out many of the differences between the two editions, given the proclivity for Cadillac to presage the next year's standard styling details in the incredibly rare Pininfarina-built Eldorado Brougham saloon ( only 200 built in 2 years), but there is one reliable indicator: all 1959 Caddies have elliptical parking light nacelles copied directly from the twin engine pods of the Boeing B-52 heavy Bomber. All 1960 models have the simplified parking lamp pods of the car you saw, sporting a horizontally halved ellipse, split vertically in the middle. A small, but telling detail for all of us car lovers who are "on the spectrum!"
Thanks, again, for taking the time to create this.

Apart from the manual conversion on that Daimler did you notice the Rover Viking emblem on the dashboard? Very strange combination. It makes me wonder if it has the 3.5 V8 from the Rover in it.
