05 Jeep Wrangler Tj steering

Hey man I loosened thAt nut up and re torqued it down and now my steering is a lot tighter

The durango upgrade will work just need 02 brake hose and re mount the upper bolt.

I have the same problem with my 04 LJ

Just bought an 05 TJ, ~90K mi, with the same issue. I replaced the steering gear box and the problem is still there. What did you end up doing?

I've not done anything as of yet. May have to rebuild it. It's a work in progress.. I'll post if I get it resolved and the solution.

Hey bud I have this same problem and no one same seem to give me an answer what did you end up doing ? I know the Durango upgrade won't work on the 03-06
