Cranberry sauce is delicious with that. Also when I used to make big turkeys for Thanksgiving I would bag up leftovers in 2 cup portions then make turkey pot pie! I used a 9" pie plate but I bet 2 cups is perfect for yours as well. One of my favorite comfort foods is a double crust pot pie! Yup, your version is sure easy!
I used left over turkey for pot pie, too. But I bought jars of turkey gravy at the store as my gravy, so not white gravy. We used tall corning wares and froze them. Put the frozen Corning Ware in a cold oven and have it heat up with the oven. We used pre-made crusts, too. Boy, those were good.

I am definitely going to try the gravy next time I make pot pies! This looked amazing! I usually make personal/individual size double crust pot pies. Years ago I bought the little vintage dark brown personal size ceramic pie plates from a yard sale... LOVE THEM! They are maybe 5inch round I think, I would have to measure to be sure, one person serving size. I have 6 of them. I have always just used canned cream of chicken soup and add milk with bouillon like Tammi does and lots of pepper instead of homemade gravy. Usually I don't ever need to add salt because the cream of chicken soup is pretty salty. And I use Frozen mixed veggies and add onion and celery a tiny bit of fresh minced garlic clove. I also egg wash my top crust to give it a golden brown flakey crust. Once I even cut out little leaf shapes of crust to embellish the tops of the little pot pies to impress mom lol Nothing better and more comforting than a chicken pot pie! It ALWAYS takes me back to my Maw Maws kitchen on the farm!

I love chicken pot pie! I use the liquid drained from the vegetables in my gravy too...no waste and it is like using vegetable broth. It adds flavor too. Great job Tammy!

Hi Tammy , I’ve made this pot pie twice now. Just got done making it for some friends who have Covid, my husband asked for it, and that’s saying something. The only thing I did different was I cut up carrots, celery and Onions and sautéed them and put a little chicken broth in the soften them after that and cut up potatoes really small and boiled them and then added everything together, we don’t really liked canned veggies and my husband cannot stand peas ( he doesn’t know what he’s missing) thank you Tammy for this wonderful recipe I will keep it forever. Wow! That's real comfort food right there. I found this pie recipe that sounds so good - if you'd like to make it for us. I think it might benefit from a bit of lemon zest in the filling, but I'll leave that up to you :-) Cream Cheese Lemonade Pie 1 - 5 oz can Evaporated milk 1 - 3.4 oz box of instant lemon pudding mix 2 - 8 oz packages of cream cheese ¾ cup frozen lemonade concentrate For the Pie Crust (or use 9” Keebler pre-made crust) 2 ½ cup graham cracker crumbs 1/3 cup sugar 2/3 cup butter, melted Step 1: Preheat the oven to about 350 degrees. Add all crust ingredients in a large bowl and mix until they are well combined. Transfer to a pie dish and press into dish. Step 2: Bake for 10-12 minutes. Remove from the oven and set aside to cool. Step 3: Combine 5 oz can of evaporated milk and pudding mix in a small bowl and beat on medium speed for 2 minutes. Add cream cheese to the mix and beat for about 3 minutes until it gets light and fluffy. Step 4: Gradually add the lemonade concentrate to the pudding mix and beat lightly till it’s well combined. Then spoon mixture into the cooled graham cracker crust and cover. Step 5: Refrigerate for at least 4 hours and serve.

I would like to make a suggestion, when you put one of your wonderful delicious recipes in a pre-heated oven please open the oven door all the way so the oven door does not come back up and burn you. It happened to a friend of mine and she got burnt very bad. It only takes a extra second to put the door all the way down. Your such a wonderful sweet lady I would feel so bad if that happened to you or anyone for that matter. I enjoy all your videos !

Hey Tammi. Whenever I need a bouillon cube, I crush it between 2 tablespoons to make it dissolve quicker. Just a little tip for you.
