So I’ve always noticed if the umpire doesn’t align himself with the catcher then 9/10 times he’s gonna miss the call. When the catcher adjusts for a certain spot adjust with him.
Pat Hoberg (yes, the one that got in trouble recently for gambling, and the guy who called a "perfect game" in the World Series) was always good at doing this. For some reason, none of the other umpires make any effort to do this or adjust.
John 3:16-17. 16 For God so loved the world he gave his only begotten Son so who so ever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world but to save the world through him.” 2 Corinthians 5:21 “For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” Romans 10:9 “If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God has raised Jesus Christ from the grave you will be saved.” God bless everybody that is reading this prayers for you all and your family in Jesus Christ name amen 🙏

And you wonder why I don’t pay the money to go to a major league baseball game…. I go to see the players play and an umpire decides he wants everyone to pay attention to him!!
I have seen it. A wild pitch but the plate umpire called a third strike instead of a ball against the batter as of backward K. We need robots instead of umpire, and sometimes robots can be smarter then the umpire.
I love how all the catchers are taught to immediately bring their glove to the center of the strike zone after catching it. It clearly works in some cases.
I always thought umpires took way too much unfair advantage of what were known as "judgement calls". More of them were bad than those that could be challenged, and a large majority were deliberate. The worst reason I thought I ever saw for a third strike that signaled the last out of a game was the umpire was tired and wanted the game to end so he could go home. As a depressed person, I would understand, but even I know that doesn't make it right. I never thought my kind should even be considered for refereeing any kind of sports anyhow. This kind of thing was one of the many reasons I quit attending and/or watching sports, but was by no means the most important
0:15 I'll bet $100 that if you go look at the official plot on that pitch that it wasn't low. That thing probably took a little nibble out of the low edge, but the broadcast box on that is garbage. They have that thing at the top of his kneecap. Same at 0:50.
Do you remember the Wheel Of Fortune when Vana had to actually find and turn the letters? Now that balls and strikes can be accurately determined electronically why not just let the umpires make the call based on the electronics. In most cases they are missing calls by inches which considering the speed and movement as well as their vantage point they aren’t doing bad. The second option is to stop showing the electronic results rather let MLB use it to grade their umpires.
If MLB cared they would make a serious effort to crack down on getting fooled by pitch framing. So many of these bad calls are catchers framing the pitch back into the zone and the umps just repeatedly falling for it. Catchers tricking umps with framing hasn't been a secret over the last decade or two. The umps should get smarter and adjust. A lot of other bad strike calls are clear go-home calls late in lopsided or high scoring games. Baseball is one of the only sports where lots of scoring actually slows the game down. Umps often will start calling little league strikes late in these games just to get the game over with.
Its amazing the umpires are looking at the catchers glove and not the ball is astonishing. Framing is a crappy tactic and the umpires suck at calling balls and strikes as it is.
People people people.......... when will you learn.... in MLB a strike is where the glove is.... not where it crosses the plate. Everyone knows that is Baseball 101. It will never change rofl
Instead of implementing the dumb ass placed runner extra inning rule, MLB should do something about the ludicrous framing. Some of these catchers are moving the ball a foot or more. Why isn't that cheating 😮 ?
How does anyone have respect for these umpires they make mistakes all to often and when someone questions them they throw them out of the game..I have more respect for a murderer then these idiots
I am amazed these umpires are being influenced by framing. That says they are not watching the ball but the catchers glove. Pathetic. Knees to letter and the ball must cross some part of the plate. There is no debate on that. Those are the rules period.

Sequence starting at 3:24 is also on the batter. If a pitch in that location is consistently getting the call, you have to swing.
Yeah, that was a consistent zone for those pitches, even if wrong.
Wrong. It's not a suggestion.
3:39 is ridiculous. And the pirate homer announcer makes it worse. Living in Pittsburgh, thats just shameful.
Fox announcer not pirates announcer
def a philly fan 😭
I've always said, you know it's bad when the announcers who are paid to he neutral to umpires start saying bad things
0:50 hot mic lol
1:35 is unbelievable
Are these all Angel Hernandez?
Nope
3:24 Marcus semien gettin violated by the ump
Tell me about it
I like how you saved all the Angel Hernandez ones for last pretty much lol.
New rule must be that as long as the catcher frames it as a strike, then it is one.
That’s not how it works

I was going to say the same thing. Ironically, some of the “framed strikes”, weren’t even close to being framed.

That’s not how it works
When they have this technology to see if it’s a ball or strike within a second, why don’t they use that to make the call instead of umps?
I am 74 tears old I hope to live long enough to see robo umps in the major leagues.
And you wonder why I don’t pay the money to go to a major league baseball game…. I go to see the players play and an umpire decides he wants everyone to pay attention to him!!
3:24 this is just crazy. three times in a row😭😭
there is a pattern with the bad calls and mosy of them are made 5 min after crossing the plate
1:06- No way that was a called 3rd strike.

2:05 ahhhh come on

Maybe have pitch comm for the ump so they can be told when they missed a call and perhaps learn from it and improve moving forward.
The Angel Hernandez reactions are gold

ABS waiting room
It's bad when even the commentators talk shit about Angel Hernandez. Why he has a job still shows what union's are all about.
Just a video idea. The Mets vs. Cards game from 4/28/24, is everything good with baseball.

New rule a catcher can not frame a pitch that’s 5 inches or more inside
Comentaters should be the umpire lol
Are all of these angel Hernandez
it doesn't matter which side you are on: one happy and another sad. that is the ball game.
2:04 😄
Literally 7 and a half minutes of angel Hernandez calls
Bucknor’s call was the worst! He’s clearly a Pittsburgh fan!
1:53 You just wage quit.
Umpires were trained by Angel Hernandez.
these kinds of games ain't worth paying to see
This video became an Angel hate vide by the end 😅🤣
ayo whqt the sigma

should be renamed...umps who gamble on their own games
How does anyone have respect for these umpires they make mistakes all to often and when someone questions them they throw them out of the game..I have more respect for a murderer then these idiots
😂😂😂todo eso es posible en usa
Umpires must be suspended for bad calls or doc pay for every bad call in the game
the Yankees announcers are biased towards the yankees so much and they never aconowlege a blown call in there fsvor
People want good framers get good framers then want robot umpires
Framers are only supposed to make minor frames these are major
ひどすぎてAI導入してほしい
Angel Horrendous the GOAT FOR POTUS over Biden . Lmao
Hunter Wendelstedt, CB Bucknor, Laz Dias can be Angel's Cabinet.
This is why MLB sucks total ass.

This is why we need robots calling balls and strikes lol technology is 100% advanced enough, MLB is just stubborn and doesn’t want to 🥲
