I was lucky enough to meet Mr. T when this show was in full swing at a meet and greet. He came out flexing his arms and smiling, telling the children in attendance to do good, to stay in school, to listen to their parents, all the things that kids need to hear from a role model. When he shook my hand, it was like the handshake of an old friend. He also impressed my mom, who drove me. In the car on the way back home she said that he seemed like a really good person, and my mom wasn't impressed by many people. And still isn't. Hope the man's still out there pitying fools!
Love the way that Hannibal takes a step back & let's B.A.'s momma think that he's in charge!! Love his humility!! Now, that's true friendship & leadership!!

I always loved this scene because B.A. showed REAL courage there. He’s a big guy who’ll fight anyone, but here we see him really face his fears when someone he loves needs his help

B.A. is the driver at the wheel, Murdock sits (and quirks) behind B.A., Hannibal sits in front as navigator giving plans, and Face sits behind Hannibal talking slick with one liners. In a humorous way, its military structure and formation with a comic twist.

There is a real touching scene in this EP where B.A.'s mum talks to Hannibal, and says that she knows that her boy being a fugitive means that she rarely sees him, and wonders if he is doing okay. She says that she worried about him especially at Christmas, because he is away from family, and says that he once sent a Christmas card to her, of him with the rest of the A-Team, to show that he had "a family" to spend Christmas with.
Looking back on some TV from my childhood, I'm kind of finding some of it just not what I imagined and a bit boring, but the A-Team will always be fresh to me, it's a classic and I love it now at 53 as much as I did when I was a kid. I never get bored of watching these episodes over and over.
I like how at 5:41 Hannibal sees that BA is trying to think of a plan and says that BA thought of the idea of "taking over the lease" even though he was knocked out during the flight. That's great leadership. When you see your men in a situation they may have not been always familiar with, or put on or in the spot/ leadership position you help them out and don't just let them stumble through it.
I also liked how Hannibal let BA's mother believe BA came up with the plan because he didn't want BA to get embarrassed.IMO that's true leadership and real friendship.

Greetz from Germany. When I was a kid, Mr. T was one of my childhood heroes. I remember having trouble with a bunch of bullies. School counselor said, build confidence and imagine someone to protect you. It was him and it worked.

This has got to be one of the very best A- Team episodes ever 💯 Never got how BA being an ex special forces Vietnam vet that had no doubt been in and out of a hundred helicopters would have a phobia for flying but then again, maybe he crashed and developed the fear for flying as a result.
Wonder if Mr T is smiling at the end because his character B.A. is lovin' his Mama's cooking, or because Mr T is doing his best not to crack up laughing.
