Thank you so much for the schedule and behavior chart I've never seen my kids scream so loud from excitement for landing on pink and getting to finally have screen time at 3. Their last class ends at 2 homework till 3. If they do everything for the day they get to start some screen time at 3. They were so stoked. They loved moving their little pin up the chart.
It`s already been 1 year since we started out reading tutorial *4ChildrenReading. Com* The reading skills of my little girl has consistently developed. She at this time reads beginning books and is also a fantastic speller. She even makes up brief stories and also writes sentences. ..
Oh DEAR LORD...Thank you for Amy Darley! My daughters are getting ready to pull 4 of my grandchildren out of school at my request so I can remote school them...They currently go 1/2 day and I pick them up and bring them home to finish the school day out. We are having an explosion of cases and I respect this virus because of underlying health issues. All 4 parents are essential workers so that leaves this grandmother...My daughter is an awesome elementary school teacher who is doing her very best keeping up with this changing situation in her own classroom so I do not want to put more on her by having her help me. BTW..I have 1 in fifth, 2 in 4th and 1 in Kindergarten. God Bless you!

I love this my son has adhd and we had horrible experience in public school. I had always wanted to homeschool but the pandemic showed me I am capable. He loves his games so the behavior chart is awesome.

My partner is really proud of his son’s reading capabilities and he is sharing his story to everybody. We teach our son how to read with the aid of this phenomenal reading guide *4ChildrenReading. Com* We used to read to him before going to bed, but now he picks out his personal books and reads to us.

I’m not a parent and I have finished school twelve years ago, but I do have a question to parents who don’t normally homeschool, do you like this new homeschool routine? Do you find you have a better idea of where your child or children are struggling. Do your kids find online/homeschool less stressful than going to a traditional school. I know there’s the social side,but I’m wondering about the academic side. I was homeschooled but it’s obviously different during quarantine

Ooo I loved rock painting as a kid! One time for school we had to find a rock in our yard that we thought was shaped like or looked like something, and then paint it to be that. Mine was a angel flying 😊 I still have it too! Maybe that's a variation ya'll can try, if you have a nearby creek or rocks in your area :)

I have 3 kids and we started our homeschooling/distance learning today. Here in CA this is now the 3rd week they’re home and I’m really missing my 6 hours of freedom everyday to get stuff done when they are usually at school😩Gonna be a LONG spring!

I would love suggestions of how to structure our nights as I’m still working during this and my 6, 4, and 1 year old boys are still going to daycare. We get home about 5:15pm so I feel like our nights are so short and there is only time to make supper, eat, clean up, play a little/finish home work then it’s already time for bed :-(. Any ideas to make the most of this time??

I was homeschooled for a few years. We lived in a camper trailer at the time too. So fun!
My brother and I were homeschooled too, but only for one year. We loved it! However, online learning isn’t the same as homeschooling 😀

Amy Darley my 6 and 1 year old around 8-8:30 and 4 year old is a night owl and hard to settle down so his bedtime varies
