At first I was gonna ask for a multiplayer mayhem but yeah get TB and Dodger in it, it'll be great. But you guys should know how to play the game first, you pretty much got the hang of it by the end. Basically to win the game you need to achieve your norma (basically goals) which is either collect x number of stars or defeat x number of enemies, depending on the board 1 of those goals will be easier to achieve (in this video it would've been easier to collect stars). When battling, defending subtract the enemies attack (e.g. def is 2 and atk is 5 and u get 3 damage) even though you roll say a 5 def and it's 2 atk you'll always take at least 1 damage. Evade however is an all or nothing, you need to get at least 1 point more than the attack to evade and take no damage at all, any less and you'll take the full atk damage.
Bunkhead It's just the aesthetic, he has played and enjoyed animu games before (although he would prefer if it wasn't). If it's just the aesthetic of the game (and as long as it's not too animu) yet the gameplay is fun I don't think he will object much to it (it's only when it involves story and characters like say Hyperdimension Neptunia)
At 36:56 he had a choice to fight the violet girl with 1hp while Jesse had 5hp, but instead he turns right and lets the girl win 2 turns later. Not to mention that you guys couldnt figure out the simple defend/evade system, this was very frustrating to watch

The more stars the card have the more you use (sometimes, been a while) but can be useful if used wisely in the game. If you complete your norma you'll gain a level which is at the side of your character and your character have stats: >Attack - Take the unit's/Player's HP >Evade - Evade attack >Defend - Defend attack *tip: The stats below when you battle will state how much you have for each, and whatever you roll adds to that stat* Some have a certain amount of stats and some "Buffs" which is on your character. this game is fun once you know how to play.

During a battle you can see stats which will increase or decrease your roll, when Crendor rolled a 5 for evade his evade stat changed it to a 4, the opponent rolled a four which had its stats change it to a 5 so it dealt full damage.
This game is basically Mario Party without the mini-games. You know.. the one element that makes Mario Party even a remotely fun series to play with friends? Though this game does have online multiplayer, which makes it more attractive to fuck around in with friends. But it really doesn't hold up very long.

Also they need to give you a card each turn at least to add to variety. Cryaotic played a game recently called Arthello (not sure on spelling) that is like this but with more variety and objectives which seems more fun.

Jesse when you defend, you are reducing damage, but the lowest it can go is 1. Evade is how you take 0 damage. That's why the numbers weren't making sense.
The reason why you get hit is because when you defend then you are still standing the tee waiting Foyle the attack but evading you move out of the attack so if you have too low an evasive roll you still get hit

And just have the camera focused on the two of you to avoid copyright issues? And we can turn it on ourselves and watch it with you(You know, how Dodger and Sam did when they started dating).
A lot of the people in the comments seem to underestimate the animu subscribers, but I am surprised a quarter of his fan fridays are suggestions from them.

Kinda reminds me of that board game in Kingdom Hearts BBS, looks cute and fun (at first I thought it was gonna be over the top animu :P) please do play more if you can and with TB and Dodger. Pretty easy to grasp how to play as well.

I bought a 4 pack of this game a while ago as a joke for some friends and it's surprisingly fun to play if you can look past Animu and RNG.

It's a whole bunch of royalty free music used in all of those games. I think most of those tracks are made by a Korean guy that goes by SAM Free.
