I met Tom in the tennis courts next to gdubs football field, at the time it was 88, or 89, and this guy was just off the boat, you could tell, so you know how 193rd in sports we were one of the best blocks in sports and this guys comes to the tennis courts cause we playing a softball game, and he says he wants to play with us and I’m like cool we put him to play, and let me tell you, this guy has a cannon of an arm and is hitting bombs left and right, and from that day on he and become good sport friends , this is all before he becomes the player that he became but he was very humble and very friendly but intense when it came to baseball, eventually he became who he became and one day and this is a true story, we were playing a fast pitching game in the parking lot of the school and moya (god rest his soul) was batting and Tom pulled up in a car a pulled out an uzi mistaking moya for the person that shot and killed his brother in Fairview, (I also had a situation with that person before he killed Ruben and he pulled out on me but luckily shit got settle without incident), and when I saw the look on toms face, I knew he was gonna spray all of us and I basically had to shout out Tom it wasn’t him(moya), and by the way he saw how scared we were and confused, and the way I spoke to him, he saw the look and fear in our eyes and he told me I’m sorry I thought it was the guy that killed my brother and pulled off.
