Just because people claim to detest a snitch doesn't mean they can stand up and not become one when it comes time to tattle and get themself out of trouble.
I know this chick who always said snitches should die. She hated snitches with a passion and did for years. She got set up with some dope and is now a snitch herself. Shit comes back to bite you at times.
You are absolutely right! Look at Sammy the bull? He gave up everything on gotti and now he has a very popular and well liked you tube channel.
@@raymondlucero4999 that’s only because everyone who could have done something to him is dead. He was in hiding for many years. I think you may have me confused with someone who glorifies gang culture. My point was that the era that Sean Branch came up in there was codes that was applied to what they did. Anyone who got “touched” back then was in the game. I think you’re referring to the gang culture of today like what’s happening in Chicago.

Crack cocaine was pervasive in DC in the 1980s. Almost everyone from my mother to the damn mayor smoked it! RIP to both of them who died old, thank God.
Washington has improved greatly since.
I will still take the old DC than all these homosexuals, gentrification, blacks priced out of areas they NEVER gave a dam about with a mayor who DID care and NEW residents who DONT give a dam about about the people who have lived here for decades.Hell the ONLY reason they are building is because MORE white people moved in.Barry tried but they WOULDN'T help him because he kissed NO ass AND LOVED his people. RIP MARION BARRY...
I agree to a point about the gentrification and the lack of affordable housing for blacks and the poor, but DC was much worse than now. The city is much safer, more cultured, and more beautiful, in my opinion. At least today, I can walk down K Street without worrying if I walk into a drive-by. The problem with income inequality is a national issue, not just DC.
I am glad we did have Barry has mayor during those tumultuous times: he got into the trenches and fought alongside his fellow Washingtonians. Any other person would have resigned after just a term. RIP Marrion Barry.

@@djhonz45 No they didn’t the mafia was notorious for being closeted towards non-Italians. You could join the mafia but only Italians could be turned into made-men. So it was not because of social mobility. They were much more sophisticated which is why a lot of these crews ended up simply being they’re foot soldiers meant to carry out the Mafia’s dirty work, not to mention the mafia had far better and higher reach, penetration and political connections. The reason as to why they were much more sophisticated was because they were prudent, secretive and larger resources than these predominantly black crews and cliques.
