Running Order:
MX2 Practice in the Dry followed by Moto1in the Mud then the KTM boys dealing with mud or not! then moto2 in even worse mud, look out for Tommy Searle's insane crash at 6.20, Gautier Paulin dealing pretty well on the hill climb and Steven Sword takes the win but admits he was stuck on the last lap before they red flagged the race, Pretty much the most extreme filming and racing condition I have ever experienced.

mud races are like being on a fucking battlefield. its an amazing experience but also an extremely shitty way to race
I hate riding in the wet the feeling of taking off wet gear is horrible because it is so hard to get off
+Spike Spikus I kinda like 2 race in the wet but not this level of muddy wet race. I always raced bether in wet condition then dry. Miss this a bit right now.

this is mental. theres this product called reclense , it has desposable saline solution capsules and desposable eye bathsx 10.i allways have them yo remove anything that gets in my eyes,they are the absolute best product ever,i use them at work to remove steel or anything else.all this high-tech race teams and bikes and they use a bucket and cloth for the most important aspect of the race...vision.

This isn't as bad as Daytona Supercross 2008 but I still wouldn't ride in it...
Why don’t they push all that mud off the track between motors? It looks like they did nothing to prep the track. You will never see conditions like this again because they have learned that when it rains like this you just take the dozers and push all the mud to the side until you are down to the hard base that won’t retain water.

Awww now they know what its like to race washougal mx on days like. That is for sure intense tho, races like that everything out of you and the bike and then some.
It wasn't worse for many reasons
· Not as much water
· Not as big piles of dirt (hills and tabletops in this case)
· Not as hardpacked before (wet sand is better than wet dirt)
· Not as many bikes destroying the track (30 bikes going 35' + 2 laps, all that 4 times)
· Not as tricked-out bikes (AMA rules are loser)

Motocross is meant to be NATURAL and mother nature makes obstacles in the form of big-ass hills and valleys. We have some flat-ish tracks (mainly the sand ones and the modern ones because some idiots think tabletops and doubles are more attractive) but, yeah, most tracks around here have at least one Hell of a slope somewhere
At 6:33 hes like fuck the goggles .. And some guy said " all there bikes were smoking" its cause the engines are really hot on these bikes and the water/mud is cooling the down very quickly, its just steam
these guys dont even know how to ride mud
im beast at riding mud...what i do:
get on my bike
ride to the starting line
see the mud
throw my bike down in frustration
go take a warm bath in the trailer
true that :p yh my bad ofc it's called goggles, but i aint a native english speaking guy ^^ oh well. i would say that if u race in this kind of competetion they should have controle over the tear off's so he doesnt need them and have to take off his glasses ^^
they're called goggles lol and maybe he ran out of tear off's, or they just got mud and water inside causing it to fog up then it's impossible to see. I do think he should of opened his eyes when trying to wash mud out though! haha washing your eyelids doesn't do much :p
i asked my god damn local yamaha dealer about em because i wanted a play bike and they said this is there last year for the 85s but they will stay have the 125 and 250 2 pingers
AMA would never make them race in anything like that. They would just wait until its decently dry, even if they have to push back the races a couple hours.

Transponders, bitch! That's how almost every racing is timed now (except for cycling, mainly because they can change bikes in most races so they'd need like 1000 transponders on some races)

Those podium-only goggles that they usually hang backwards around their necks after they win the race... they should have hung a spare set around their necks for the race itself. Wrapped in a plastic bag probably.
