the previous model didnt come with variable speed with the trigger on the djv182. Could you confirm if the new model comes with variable speed according on how much your push the button? Thanks a lot
@@AndyChipling hi Andy. What do you mean by dust guard? The clear plastic pieces that clip on the base next to the blade (which are supposed to help prevent splintering), or the extractor port that connects into the rear (I can't find that either).
Thank you, watch out for the follow up that'll be released soon. Always good to get away from the cables, especially with jigsaws and cutting curves etc.
Yes you are correct, but it is also for different applications, examples are. Position 0 for mild steel and plastics, position 3 for fast cutting plywood
@@ChampionsOfTheTrade Did you remove my last comment? I'll post it again: Orbital cutting doesn't change the angle, it thrusts the blade forward to increase cutting speed. There are no degrees to look up, there's only small, medium and large orbital cutting action.

@@andymccabe6712 No, he's talking about the quality. We can hear well, but the quality is not very good. But I personally don't care, as long as I can hear what's being said and it's not annoying.
Out of the videos this was the most helpful thanks a lot sir
Glad it helped, any questions, please ask

Hello, yes it does. Please see here: ruclips.net/user/shorts7LubnPmsHfA
I made a quick short to demonstrate, hope it helps 👍
Looking for a dust guard.. I can not find it listed. Please are you able to advise?

Thanks for the video . I just bought this tool for my collection on Friday….
Fantastic, please let me know how you get on with it. 👌
Very nice, I’m thinking to get one, I have one corded, but it will be an improvement to go cordless, greetings from Tecate, México

Does it blow the dust away while cutting?
Hi Mike, seems to do a pretty good job of doing that in my experience. 👍
Does it blow wind to clear the dust while cutting
No. Not sure that I know of any jigsaw that does that.
A square dust extraction port? That’s handy 😂.
It would be even more handy if it came with the tube! lol
Спасибо из России!
Sorry, I don't understand.
Isn't the lever on the side for adjusting orbital cutting?

@@ChampionsOfTheTrade yeah but you said it was about blade angles?
@@pumbsteri because it does change the angle of the blades slightly. Off the top of my head, I couldn't tell you the degree's, I'd have to look it up.
