This is the video I wish I had when I was pregnant. Pregnancy wasn’t anything like I thought it would be and that was hard. People kept asking if I was so excited but I was sick and a bit depressed and I could barely muster a smile in response and then o would see them look concerned and surprised and I would feel awful that I wasn’t happy. It got easier after the halfway point. I was Lea sick, able to move more and got excited nesting and preparing but man, those first 20 weeks were hell and I didn’t know it was okay to feel like that.

@@21adrimarie my daughter is 6 months old now and so adorable and wonderful and I lover her so much it was all worth it but man it was hard. Even the first few months of her life I wasn’t sure I was cut out for this motherhood thing. I was just operating on auto pilot doing the things I knew had to be done but not feeling anything. It took me awhile before the emotion caught up to me and I realized I loved her and we were gonna be okay.

I'm pregnant with my third. Very grateful because I had two miscarriages but it is so freaking hard. Especially not having the same energy to do anything. Most days I just have to remind myself it'll be over soon. To take it one day at a time

My first two pregnancies made me think there was no way I'd ever want to go through it again. I was in so much debilitating back and hip pain which in turn made me mentally and emotionally a miserable, moody wreck every single day. I thought I just had to deal with it, plus we did not have much money for anything as 22 year olds. It truly ruined what good have been great. This time around I prioritized health and made it so our budget allowed me to see a chiropractor, get every nutritional supplement I could possibly need and any tool that would help. I never thought I would say this EVER but I'm ENJOYING this pregnancy. That is crazy. Prioritize taking care of your body in every way you need personally (first tip) but more importantly, steward your soul and spend time with God. Intimacy with Him is the antidote to everything. I did not do either of these the first two times. I was glued to Google and couldn't wait for the baby to get out. I'm now 27 weeks the third time around, praying and reading scripture, loving having her here with me--a new person. I wish I had not been so anxious and in pain for practically years of my life

You aren't wrong about stewarding your relationship with Jesus Mama. Yahweh wants us Christian women to put our strength in Him because he wants us to be humble and understand that we are the weaker vessel in the family unit. Me and my Husband are Bible based Christians to the core 💪

Hey Jess! Not pregnant anymore but loved these tips so much. Felt each one. It definitely is hard or awks to answer how pregnancy is going.
Sorry idk if i can add a tip... but I wished i slowed down on watching TOO much "Day in the life/routine" videos with newborns from mommys vloggers because it did affect my mental health after birth. I watched too many and welp my baby never sleep through the night till 2 years old or I felt my days weren't as eventful as other mommys or I was doing it all wrong! I think BALANCE is key.

Hello Jessica! I’ve been watching your videos for a long time and now I’m 11 weeks pregnant with my first. I thought the 1st trimester was going to be a breeze, I was exercising, working and eating healthy until nausea and vomiting hit me hard at week 5. I’ve had to take time off work, I feel repulsed by most foods and smells and lost a lot of weight in a short period of time. My doctor hasn’t been very supportive and I’ve been told to go in to hospital if I get too dehydrated. I’m trying to eat and drink what I can but it isn’t optimal. I’m waiting for my 12 week scan as it feels like I’m in limbo at the moment. Can’t wait for the first trimester to be over!

I relate to your experience so much! Just wanted to say you are not alone!! I didn’t expect pregnancy to be hard until the end but man right around the 6 week mark I felt like I got hit by a truck! The nausea, the exhaustion and the emotions were sooo hard. It did get easier but it was a slow process. I really hoped I’d hit the second trimester and wake up one day feeling better but that didn’t happen. Instead I slowly started to feel better between weeks 13-20 and the part I thought would be hard at the end ended up being wonderful. Hang in there mama! You got this!

I’m about 9 weeks with my first and I’m right there with you with the nausea and vomiting hitting at week 5. Fortunately I have great doctors but even with medication the nausea and vomiting and pure exhaustion is rough, especially while trying to work. We just have to get through the first trimester and hopefully it will get better for us!

I’m pregnant with my second and say all the time that I’m done done done having kids after this one! I just wish I could enjoy being pregnant but wrangling a toddler and dealing with the hormones and vomit… I just can’t but so sad that it might be why I stop having babies.

I wish sunscreen and hats were remedy to melasma. I do both and that has not saved my skin. You’re either genetically pre disposed or not just like stretch marks they’ll either happen or not. Melasma does improve after birth at least for me. Hope that helps anyone else dealing with this.

I'm having such a problem with eating healthy.. this is my 2nd and I was really healthy with my 1st. But with this baby (girl) I just crave nothing but sugar. I feel so so terrible 😞 I need help and don't know where to get it.
