- LEGO Star Wars created an awesome The Mandalorian season 3 set in the 75346 Pirate Snub Fighter. Unfortunately at $35 it costs too much money and is mussing a 3rd LEGO Minifigure in a character like Pirate King Gorian Shard... Overall I like the set but man these LEGO price increases are hitting LEGO Star Wars hard!

This set had a quite bit of potential, but for $35, a lot of fans will be going for better sets like the Indy Fighter Plane Chase or Dark Trooper Hallway
I'm not saying this is a great fleet builder, but at this price NOBODY will buy duplicates. 🙅♂
I bought the dark trooper fight scene just for the dark troopers
It would probably be of greater value not just cause it retires later much like every star wars lego set, if LEGO releases the Corsair as well, than people will probably be pressed hard to find it, mostly to complete it as a 2 piece set. I really do hope we get a model of that Ship later, as it has been one of the best new star wars ship designs in recent memory.

have you seen that brickli and a bunch of other content creators are trying to break the record for largest clone army, which is currently held by lego,? You should really try to get in contact with them, they already have around 7,000 clones, and are trying to get to 40,000. You really have many clones to bring to the table.

@@apparentlyjeremy Based on a quick check of what the prices for sets were in 2007, it would have more likely been $20, but to your point, either way... it's over priced... it'll just be less overpriced, at 20% off... which will make it $28.

They should have included the pirate captain Gorian Shard as a minifigure and lowered the price point to $30. That would be much more reasonable.
This set is a major let down, the build is not that good, figures are lacking and it costs $10 more than it should.
I would understand the price if it had a Gorian Shard figure but this just isn't worth buying unless it's discounted.

Great video, It’s a shame we didn’t get the pirate Corsair with the Snub fighter as an additional accessory but still a pretty good build with okay mini figs. Any update on the Republic Gunship?
Right how cool would’ve it been if the pirate corsair had slots for like 2 snub fighters on the top. Could be the same size as the Gideons imperial light cruiser.
A terribly overpriced set (but that’s LEGO nowadays), which really could’ve benefited from a 3rd minifig

A third minifigure in this set would have been great, even just a new Greef Karga with updated printing. Still it looks cool and I can't wait to pick it up! 🔥

I was thinking the same exact thing when I saw the pilots helmet. Lol most of the more popular characters don't get this much detail but the pirate snub pilot does... freaking lego

The thing I hate and like about this set, is the fact your getting a pretty much accurate snub fighter, but for the price I would have expected at least 3 mini-figures rather than two. But had the price been 30$ I would have been able to see past only having 2 mini-figures rather ( which I’ve already mentioned ) 3 mini-figures

I like the look of the ship, but it's more like a $25 set for its size; 70638: Katana V11 from a few years ago in the Ninjago theme is a similar overall size to this and that was $20. A third minifig wouldn't help to add much value, and doesn't fix the issue that there's not much to this for how much it costs. Knocking $10 off this would be a lot more acceptable.
It's crazy how we had the Imperial Armoured Marauder not long ago which was quite a bulk of a tank and four figures for $40, which was a little bit much but not outrageous and had healthy discounts.
Lego simps just keep buying lego's crap and lego just turns around and turns up the prices.

I really like these simple, smart, basic builds with a nice bit of detail. A nice contrast the the large complex builds. Lego should do more of them. It’s overpriced compared to previous years, but sadly it is now the new norm. Just like eggs in the supermarket.
Something surprising about this set is that it's actually cheaper in Canada than in the us, adjusting the currency conversion it's a few dollars cheaper. Basically unheard of in LEGO sets

If LEGO included Gorian Shard it would’ve just led to people complaining about the fact that they didnt make his ship instead. They cant win sometimes, It makes the most sense not to make gorian shard unless you are going to make his corsair

For a VERY similar piece count you can get Obi Wan's Starfighter which costs less and has more minifigures

There are too many rich lego fans these days. They jump on the hype train and drive the prices right up. Same thing happened with Thrawn who was also a ~$20 figure until he got name-dropped in Mando season 2.
Everyone needs to get used to the increase in price and realise it's not going back. However, discounts are mostly a guarantee so keep an eye out.
People need to stop buying the sets if they want the old prices to come back

They make the translucent grey more blue to make it appear more grey. And it will stay grey longer when the plastic yellows.
The sword mold is a far better darksaber mold than the current one even with the new blade

I would’ve honestly preferred the big pirate ship in the newer episodes but this does fine we’ve seen quite a few of them flying so it’s cool to get it but man the price the set is good but the price just doesn’t do it for me. but I think that trans orange cone usage for the thrust is good because when they are moving through out they colour is like stretching in light so it looks really accurate

Got the set for 75DKK (~$10) from a clearance shelf unexpectedly, so here I am now.
You can get the Indiana Jones fighter plane chase with 3 figures a fighter plane and a car for the same price this is just overpriced
This set is very expensive. That said, I will still buy it as soon as it goes on sale, I'm guessing that won't take long.

How about the printing on the pilot helmet? Absolutely impressed and Absolutely this set is over priced for under 300 peices and only 2 mini figs but I think this is just how it's gonna be. 9 out of 10 sets seem over priced. Just got it anyways because I'm out of sets to build and I think it definitely looks quite unique compared to most other star wars lego. I really hope these prices start to come down eventually because I am catching all kinds of flak from the wife about the money I'm spending on legos.

If someone wanted to recreate that fight scene buying these would be pretty good (which is maybe what Lego intended?) but it would’ve been better to include (imo) a third pilot and all three figs with different expressions so you could have each one be unique and you could customize them to not feel to repetitive.
Similar to an old xwing set that came with Luke and R2 but also another pilot and astromech

the bandana piece was used in other themes like in the ninjago city set, it is used to represent the bald head of a sushi chef

At my Walmart they put the Executor Super Star Destroyer out on a display and I tried to buy one, but for some reason they weren't able to sell it to me. I would assume that it was because on their website it was still on preorder, but suffice to say I was a little upset😅

I can totally see a huge table build of these with the mandalorian Star fighter with the city below during the siege/ mandalorian rescue in my basement. I want at least six of these for that purpose.

How have they NOT learned how important minifig selection is by now, ESPECIALLY for LEGO SW fans
had a money off voucher for Tesco's (UK) for the grand sum of £4, this was the only set they had that i was interested in, mainly for the minifigures, that i didnt have already, just finished building it, its ok but i'm glad i didnt pay full price, got it for £17 with the voucher... i would have paid the £21 before the voucher but 17 was definitely better for it....
When I first saw this hit the shelves I immediately wanted it but the $35 price tag kept me away. Recently I saw it go on sale at my local Walmart for $19.50 so I snatched it right up. It was indeed a fun set but not $35.00 worth
So a couple of UK store got this down to £24 (originall £30). Is that a acceptable price now? I mean I'm not into LEGO all that much but I do like the look and the colour of the Snub Fighter!
Jeez, you guys have not been paying attention to Legos prices for years. This set has 285 pieces, I would say Legos price has been about 10 cents per brick, so, this set would be about 28 bucks, However, Lego has now been adding 5 to 10 bucks to almost every set, so a price hike of $7 is pretty usual now. I swear the Lego community just has to find something to complain about for every Lego set. 😂

Honestly it's not the set that's the problem, just the ship design itself. Really disappointing with how ugly it is. Shard's Corsair was a beautiful ship design straight out of something like Homeworld, but the fighters are just... flat
I really hope for some Black sun,hutt cartel/ criminal n whatnot battlepack, i already missed out on the bounty hunter battle pack which had interesting figures.
We’re gonna have to get used to seeing this new windscreen color. It will be the new Star Wars cockpit color from 2025 onwards.
I like the ship but we should have gotten a third minifig and a different face print for Vane OR a different alien species for the pilot. 6,5/10 for me
