You know what's crazy? I first saw your comment a couple of days ago and thought to myself that this must have been a coincidence that you're rolling 6s more usual than often, BUT NO, you're using actual dice, which means they're slightly weighted more at the bottom where the 1 is. But Hollow Knight would be a close second. Hollow Knight was released on February 24th, 2017 by Team Cherry, an indie game studio based in the mythical land of Adelaide, South Australia. Over the past three years, Hollow Knight has become an indie darling. The game has sold over three and a half million copies, it was the opening game at AGDQ 2019. There’s a Hollow Knight book, a line of plushies, T-shirts, nicotine patches, nuclear warheads, and even vinyl records for all you goddamn hipsters. Team Cherry had one goal when making Hollow Knight. They wanted to create a world that allowed players to get completely lost in exploration. We can see this desire in Hollow Knight’s design. The levels in Hollow Knight are massive, with secrets and rewards hidden in every nook and cranny, be that powerful charms, special abilities or uhh… The game’s navigation system requires the player to work for their map, forcing them to make a stronger mental image of the world in their head. Christopher Larkin’s score and Ari Gibson’s artwork lend to this as well, creating an atmosphere that the player won’t want to leave. But there's one aspect of Hollow Knight that keeps people like me coming back: the world building. When Super Metroid launched in 1994, it stood out for its amazing sense of immersion. In case you didn't know, Super Metroid is basically the granddaddy of all Metroidvanias. That's why they’re called "MetroidVANIAs". Posting Daily Untill Silksong, Day 148 Its TS!Underswap's turn! Very fun, and there's loads of content despite beeing a demo. No wonder i heard so many talking about it. The puzzles are Great, so much so i went out of my way to complete ALL Of them. Only one i didn't understand was one about levers where i had to pull them in a certain order to create a bridge to push a rock on a pressure plate. I just brute forced my way past that one. Deathless so far. Also the jingle when equipping the hat and gun was a bloody jumpscare, but in a good way.

Day 9 of ranking all the Hunter's journal entries. *Aspid hatchling* _Recently birthed, these young aspid instinctively swarm around intruders._ _These hatchlings are born with an instinct to kill! They are still only infants though, and you can crush them between your fangs without thinking. Just don't let them overwhelm you with numbers._ 9/10 I have a lot of things to say here. First, it praises their killing instincts, and I love when the Hunter sees best qualities of weaker enemies. Second, and something that we will see in a lot of entries, I find it hilarious when the Hunter says things like “use your fangs” when the Knight clearly can’t do that. And at the end, it gives a very useful tip! There’s literally nothing wrong with this entry. The only entries that can surpass this are the ones that talk about lore, the ones in which the Hunter shares some very interesting thoughts, or just the ones that are even funnier. Btw, I think people aren’t thankful enough for the fact that there isn’t a primal aspid mother.

For the people here that have played oneshot I have a small question. (spoilers for the game ahead) I’ve fully completed the game (probably lol) but when my sister was playing it, she chose to save Niko instant of the world, same as me. I then told her that there is more to the game than just that and she continued playing but instead of anything different happening, it’s just exactly the same as before. I first saw your comment a couple of days ago and thought to myself that this must have been a coincidence that you're rolling 6s more usual than often, BUT NO, you're using actual dice, which means they're slightly weighted more at the bottom where the 1 is. If you were to ask me, “What is your favorite video game ever made?” I would have to say Cory in the House for the Nintendo DS. But Hollow Knight would be a close second. Hollow Knight was released on February 24th, 2017 by Team Cherry, an indie game studio based in the mythical land of Adelaide, South Australia. Over the past three years, Hollow Knight has become an indie darling. The game has sold over three and a half million copies, it was the opening game at AGDQ 2019. There’s a Hollow Knight book, a line of plushies, T-shirts, nicotine patches, nuclear warheads, and even vinyl records for all you goddamn hipsters.
Team Cherry had one goal when making Hollow Knight. They wanted to create a world that allowed players to get completely lost in exploration. We can see this desire in Hollow Knight’s design. The levels in Hollow Knight are massive, with secrets and rewards hidden in every nook and cranny, be that powerful charms, special abilities or uhh… The game’s navigation system requires the player to work for their map, forcing them to make a stronger mental image of the world in their head. Christopher Larkin’s score and Ari Gibson’s artwork lend to this as well, creating an atmosphere that the player won’t want to leave. But there's one aspect of Hollow Knight that keeps people like me coming back: the world building.
When Super Metroid launched in 1994, it stood out for its amazing sense of immersion. Now in 1994, I was busy not being alive, but I’ve watched enough RUclips video essays to know that this game was a big deal. In case you didn't know, Super Metroid is basically the granddaddy of all Metroidvanias. That's why they’re called "MetroidVANIAs". Now in Super Metroid, there are moments that give the player a sense of depth. Basically the feeling that this world exists outside of Samus’ interactions with it. In the room right before that diabetic crocodile thing, Samus can find the corpse of a random soldier. His inclusion here doesn't change the gameplay at all, but instead gives the player a sense of wonder about the world they are exploring. Who was this guy? Why was he here in the first place? Did he like jazz?

Very fun, and there's loads of content despite beeing a demo. No wonder i heard so many talking about it. The puzzles are Great, so much so i went out of my way to complete ALL Of them. Only one i didn't understand was one about levers where i had to pull them in a certain order to create a bridge to push a rock on a pressure plate. I just brute forced my way past that one. Deathless so far.
Also the jingle when equipping the hat and gun was a bloody jumpscare, but in a good way.

9/10 I have a lot of things to say here. First, it praises their killing instincts, and I love when the Hunter sees best qualities of weaker enemies. Second, and something that we will see in a lot of entries, I find it hilarious when the Hunter says things like “use your fangs” when the Knight clearly can’t do that. And at the end, it gives a very useful tip! There’s literally nothing wrong with this entry. The only entries that can surpass this are the ones that talk about lore, the ones in which the Hunter shares some very interesting thoughts, or just the ones that are even funnier.
Btw, I think people aren’t thankful enough for the fact that there isn’t a primal aspid mother.

For the people here that have played oneshot I have a small question. (spoilers for the game ahead)
I’ve fully completed the game (probably lol) but when my sister was playing it, she chose to save Niko instant of the world, same as me. I then told her that there is more to the game than just that and she continued playing but instead of anything different happening, it’s just exactly the same as before. I didn’t look online at the fandom when playing the game to avoid spoilers so I don’t know how many endings there are but I know I probably got the good one. Did my sister just miss something because there’s no prototype prophet bot and stuff like that. Sorry that this comment is long and badly worded btw

In order for solstice to activate, you need to use the book in the mines of the starting location. Maybe she missed it?
Or did you let her play the version where TWM just "simulates" the original? If that's the case, you can only play solstice one time, you'd have to delete your saves to replay it.

The Host List consists of every video with a Guest Host. Including Araraura multiple times. I count those separately as well, why?
Because I base my list off of the thumbnails and titles.
When there's no new Host for today, I simply post the "Without a Host List Update" variant, in which I just update the daily counters.
At the bottom of the comment, there's 3 numbers: Unique, Repeated and Total.
The Unique counter used to be called "Total" for a long time, until Day 300 of Daily commenting, where I realized it is the wrong word to use, so now It's "Unique Host Count". Its self explanatory, it counts how many unique hosts there are and have been.
The Repeated count is used for those times there are repeated hosts, where I add "(2nd Time)", "(3rd Time), etc" next to a host's username and add that to the Repeated count.
And lastly, the Total count is both Unique and Repeated counts added up.
Now, for some milestones I reached, and also explanations for new Counters:
In Day 365 of Daily Commenting, I myself hosted DSN, in celebration of Dialy Commenting for a year, coming full circle with my comment.
As of Day 446 of Daily Commenting and thanks to The Smasher's suggestion, I keep track of when a streak of hosts happens, whether they were unique or repeated. And I will say something like "The Streak of 2 from Yesterday has been broken" or "The Host Streak is now 3!", hoping for the Current Record to break.
In Day 574 of Daily Commenting, I hosted DSN again! I felt like it, the "No Update" record" was close to being broken and decided to host, idk.
