in UK our scones are thick and you cut them in half and fill with strawberries and fresh cream...I believe you call them biscuits in the states where as our biscuits are what we often dip in our hot drinks.

american biscuits are typically savoury I think. English scones are similar to these, just a different shape and we make them plain or sometimes with raisins. I love strawberry jam on my scones in the place of strawberries.

I used freeze-dried raspberries. These are dry and crunchy, not like regular frozen raspberries! You can buy them at Trader Joe's or online on Amazon :)

Scones are not that shape in Scotland they tend to be round like what US call biscuits.
