I did some North Fork scouting today when I took my GF for lunch. People may not see the forest through the trees but it is easier to see whats what when the leaves are gone. Mostly looking for areas weakfish might congregate pre spawn in late April, before Orient point that are shore accessible. Saw a great little shore spot in the lower Peconic also that I never noticed. An outflow with a pool and brisk moving water. I guarantee there is an above average bass and some hondo pickerel there. Always watch for those little ticks they can mess you up. I even saw a great blue heron today and have been seeing Robins for months. Just read: Two hours before and two hours after low or high tide are prime, especially when this tide phase is close to dawn or dusk. Early and late in the season, water temperature will dictate the most productive tide. During the early spring, the end of the outgoing is best. In the late fall, the end of the incoming is best. - OTW

I hear the north fork has a great weakfish fishery, never caught any out there. What’s you favorite lure for them? Small pink bucktails?
Doesn't matter how many fish, what matters is getting out with your little fishing buddy!😊
That’s right!
That was a nice variety of locations.
Yup, ALL over the island, thanks for watching!
Been waiting on some footage from you
Been a while since I caught a fish, thanks for watching!
