What's the point in showcasing all of this when you have a "Requirements" section in the description & then you have a "Mods" section? I have never installed any mods never mind everything in the "Requirements" section. If somehow you see this comment please make a full & detailed video on how to install EVERY single bit of these mods. Otherwise, this is a pointless video, looks cool but not that effective if no-one can play all of these mods.
This only down side abt this is you gotta download like 30 different mods just to run it, that’s lowkey really inconvenient especially when u already have mods due to storage unlike 5m to join a certain server it automatically downloads each mod after downloading fiveM when u loading it it downloads all of it while loading in the game but for this it’s dope but I gotta manually download everything separate
The nights need to be much much darker. Like almost no power to the city barring a few places that have stored up electricity. Plus, it will add to the spook and jumpscare factor since you can't see the zombies and have to reply on flashlights or car headlights. I'm sure there is a mod for darker nights out there somewhere.

This is absolutely amazing! Is the Human Labs building accessible? You could use it as the origin of the zombie-virus and maybe give an opportunity to find an antidote as a final goal of this gamemode.
@@silverbloodborne9495 the Doomsday update for online was apparently salvaged from plans for a single player DLC that never came to be, I think there's a lot of cut content and voice lines showing echoes of what could have been
You could also add the 'Sleep anywhere mod', it can make the experience better, allowing you to sleep. It even has like a fatigue bar (you can toggle it) so if you have been out for too long, your character will be forced to sleep

Yeah I got half way through downloading the mod list and gave up. This looks like an amazing addition to the game that could add hundreds of hours of play time for a lot of us but you provide absolutely no instruction at all on how to implement these mods. And with literally dozens of mods to organize and keep track of, 99% of us can't use this. Amazing content, but almost none of us can use this until we get a comprehensive tutorial of how to set it up. So thanks anyway.
Well maybe watch a video on how to mod your game. I literally started 2 days ago and can figure out how to install these just based off what I learned in other videos. Yall complain about having to use an installer tool or whatever if that’s a problem for you then maybe don’t play with mods
Gta v. The best shooter, driver, flying, boating, and role playing to start. Now it’s the best zombie game.. best super hero game. Literally the best whatever game you want, you will find it through gta mods. The things people create NEVER cease to amaze me
GTA V is one of the worst 3rd person shooter experiences out there. Their design philosophy is the same as in 2004. Lock on aim, barely any recoil and full of exploits. Sniping is also garbage. Fights in multiplayer feel awful.
I sometimes come back to this video to hear you talking and explaining how to turn gtav into a zombie game, over the extremely well shot short videos of gameplay that you recorded for this... excellent quality.
The shockwave blast from that gas station is more realistic then battlefield… this is top tier man, I really hope if u have enough time and ppl to help out you should totally make an entire game like this I would so pay for this, u deserve something with this amount of work put into this absolutely love this keep up the good work!!!👍🏻🔥

ohh, Idk how, but I installed more than 50% of mods, but im noob in modding, and did it in gta for the first time, and my gta worked, but I wanted more thing, like - random spawn in random point, you just random survivor, and maybe delete save beds

Literally what I've wanted for a over a decade now. Rockstar already did it with Red Dead. I know it would take much more work but still I'm surprised they haven't done this with GTA yet as DLC Amazing Job! Online for this would be fun

Which really sucks for players like me who hate GTAO but would still pay good money for a good single player DLC like the ones for GTA IV or something like Undead Nightmare.
Not sure why I'm hearing about this now. I always wished Rockstar would do a zombie apocalypse game in a GTA environment. Online play would literally turn into a H1Z1 style.

I'm so happy that I finally get to buy my dream PC just to play GTA V on my own computer now. I've already finished playing this game on Story Mode on near internet cafes and now I have it on my own hands now. I can do many fun GTA V mods that I've been always dreamed of. Holy shit, man! This is beyond awesome and I can't even begin to imagine the hours it took! I wonder if NPC can turn when they get bit or if jerry cans run out of fuel but these are pretty low hanging fruit and I'm sure someone's thought about them since you dropped this video.

@@iHateCactuars While you'd think that because you can run modern games you must be able to run older ones with mods, thats actually not the case. Download Skyrim SE and install a photographic enb with texture mods and your PC will turn into a pit of fire.
Hey bud so I downloaded all the required plugins. Thanks for your hard work by the way. So these plugins work after the prologue like after you have unlocked Franklin,michael and Trevor or are they suppose to work right after they are installed ?
When modding the game, what is a good way to keep my mods and not have to reinstall everything every time there's an update, which feels like once every week?
Well, scripts don't need to be reinstalled when new updates arrive and if you are using the 'mods' folder, as you should, then you can technically continue to play using it. Although you run the risk of instability because you are using older instances of game files. There is this tool called GTA V Modding Launcher that allows you to create different profiles for your mods. It can help you stay organized. Generally speaking though, I guess it's recommend to just reinstall mods with every major update, as annoying as it can be.
@@justGesha Thank you. That's really helpful to know. It is usually just a big pain when an update comes out because it seems like I need to reinstall everything and not just gameconfigs or vehicle spawners. That does make sense though, because the game can't even launch without being updated.

I have another mod that you should add to make the GTA V Zombie Apocalypse more realistic! It's called the 'Euphoria' mod and it makes NPCs limp/walk before falling over and it makes them ragdoll to vehicle impacts more realistically, like, small bumps just gently nudges them while harder impacts will make them get curled up into a ball and roll over the ground and... you should just check it out, it's a little hard to explain.
I know it and have showcased it before but unfortunately it glitches out the zombies and their animations. That's the reason I don't recommend using it here.
The only problem I have with this modpack is its difficulty, or lackthereof. Survival horror zombie games are _defined_ by their intense difficulty. That's where the horror aspect comes into play. In this modpack, everything seems handed to you on a silver platter, and while the zombies will chase you, their AI is so garbage that they can only just _barely_ navigate around wrecks or through houses, and they have such a tiny aggro range that you could reasonably _walk through_ a horde if it was spaced out enough. You can see this in action during the gameplay section, where zombies don't even react in the slightest to the player even though they're a mere few feet away. There's also a matter of the supplies. Realistically, you could spend full, real-life _days_ just chilling in a gas station with infinite food supplies and no reason to venture further out. All the cars start with a supply of gas, and as Gesha mentioned in the video, free jerry cans are handed out like condoms at a Planned Parenthood. And, this modpack still doesn't shake the influence of GTA; steal cars, shoot guns, repeat. Nothing new and _needed_ is brought to the table. You could play this modpack in the exact same way that you could play vanilla GTA. Just with a few stops for food and gas as you're cruising along. There's no need to camp out, there's no need to barricade structures, there's no need to interact with NPC survivors in or out of combat, there's no need to pick up airdrops. In the combat itself, it's still GTA's combat, which means that you're a walking tank regardless of the weapon you use or armor you have. Able to take any kind of damage and dish it out tenfold. If you're looking for zombie survival, GTA is hardly the place to look. If you're looking for any modicum of challenge, this modpack will not give it to you. If you're looking for cathartic and satisfying zombie action, this is also too slow-paced to serve even that.
As it uses Trevor from story could you imagine being able to use Michael or Franklin, or non-playable characters such as Lamar etc. Because then you could use Chop to find resources and link up with other story characters and try and make it to a safe zone?
Alright, this actually looks incredible. I've always did cinematic screenshot stuff and test with gta v machinima movie stuff... this could be a lot fitting. Got question! This is on singleplayer right? is it possible to host dedicated server with friends with this mod?

Menyoo mod menu has a misc option that lets you black out everything
You can do that just by lowering the brightness in game, that way it'll be more dark at night.
Basically transforming GTA 5 into Days Gone.

Yep it's dumb, needs an all in 1 installer. Or a mod manager that installs them in order with 1 click.

I like how this mod is more immersive than GTA 5 itself. Cars run out of gas, tents are accessible, building items, etc.

Holy shit, man! This is beyond awesome and I can't even begin to imagine the hours it took! I wonder if NPC can turn when they get bit or if jerry cans run out of fuel but these are pretty low hanging fruit and I'm sure someone's thought about them since you dropped this video.

@@iHateCactuars While you'd think that because you can run modern games you must be able to run older ones with mods, thats actually not the case. Download Skyrim SE and install a photographic enb with texture mods and your PC will turn into a pit of fire.

When modding the game, what is a good way to keep my mods and not have to reinstall everything every time there's an update, which feels like once every week?
Well, scripts don't need to be reinstalled when new updates arrive and if you are using the 'mods' folder, as you should, then you can technically continue to play using it. Although you run the risk of instability because you are using older instances of game files. There is this tool called GTA V Modding Launcher that allows you to create different profiles for your mods. It can help you stay organized. Generally speaking though, I guess it's recommend to just reinstall mods with every major update, as annoying as it can be.
@@justGesha Thank you. That's really helpful to know. It is usually just a big pain when an update comes out because it seems like I need to reinstall everything and not just gameconfigs or vehicle spawners. That does make sense though, because the game can't even launch without being updated.
One thing that would be extremely awesome would be to have all this in a single download with instructions for installation.

I have another mod that you should add to make the GTA V Zombie Apocalypse more realistic! It's called the 'Euphoria' mod and it makes NPCs limp/walk before falling over and it makes them ragdoll to vehicle impacts more realistically, like, small bumps just gently nudges them while harder impacts will make them get curled up into a ball and roll over the ground and... you should just check it out, it's a little hard to explain.
I know it and have showcased it before but unfortunately it glitches out the zombies and their animations. That's the reason I don't recommend using it here.

The only problem I have with this modpack is its difficulty, or lackthereof. Survival horror zombie games are _defined_ by their intense difficulty. That's where the horror aspect comes into play. In this modpack, everything seems handed to you on a silver platter, and while the zombies will chase you, their AI is so garbage that they can only just _barely_ navigate around wrecks or through houses, and they have such a tiny aggro range that you could reasonably _walk through_ a horde if it was spaced out enough. You can see this in action during the gameplay section, where zombies don't even react in the slightest to the player even though they're a mere few feet away.
There's also a matter of the supplies. Realistically, you could spend full, real-life _days_ just chilling in a gas station with infinite food supplies and no reason to venture further out. All the cars start with a supply of gas, and as Gesha mentioned in the video, free jerry cans are handed out like condoms at a Planned Parenthood.
And, this modpack still doesn't shake the influence of GTA; steal cars, shoot guns, repeat. Nothing new and _needed_ is brought to the table. You could play this modpack in the exact same way that you could play vanilla GTA. Just with a few stops for food and gas as you're cruising along. There's no need to camp out, there's no need to barricade structures, there's no need to interact with NPC survivors in or out of combat, there's no need to pick up airdrops.
In the combat itself, it's still GTA's combat, which means that you're a walking tank regardless of the weapon you use or armor you have. Able to take any kind of damage and dish it out tenfold.
If you're looking for zombie survival, GTA is hardly the place to look. If you're looking for any modicum of challenge, this modpack will not give it to you. If you're looking for cathartic and satisfying zombie action, this is also too slow-paced to serve even that.
As it uses Trevor from story could you imagine being able to use Michael or Franklin, or non-playable characters such as Lamar etc. Because then you could use Chop to find resources and link up with other story characters and try and make it to a safe zone?
Alright, this actually looks incredible. I've always did cinematic screenshot stuff and test with gta v machinima movie stuff... this could be a lot fitting.
