They should do a comedy skit in a monty python type sketch with someone on a game show called who wants to be a rich twit. And you could have someone in the audience farting loudly on cue with the right answers..
Depends whether you believe how accurate lie detector tests are. I mean 8 fellas all passed lie detectors saying their mate had been abducted by a flying saucer in the u.s back in the 70s Travis Walton I think his name is.
@paulanthony5274 5 out of 6 of them passed. And they were asked by police if they knew where he was or if they had harmed him. Not specifically about UFO's
He might be telling the truth. I know people can be complete bare-faced liars, and don't flinch when they know they're talking shite. But if someone is a quiz afficianado/ hobbyist, then surely they would get a sense of satisfaction out of winning legitimately/ the attention you get for 'looking smart.' He might have got financial gain from a potential cut from the 'winnings,' but enough to risk his whole reputation, as a quizzer, a father and husband? Maybe his ego needed nourished to the point where he felt he could pull the wool over the eyes of the biggest TV game show of the time. I'm on the fence about it.
He can't be telling the truth, too many people spotted his activity to be a coincidence. He knew Diana, he was spotted coughing on the right answers by other contestants, the police even found the answer to one of the questions in a quiz notebook he had at home despite saying he didn't know the answer. This is not a wrong day, wrong time situation. He found himself in a world of trouble all by his own actions.
One thing to consider is that everyone who participates in the show is presumably motivated by money, and potentially opportunity to win a very large chunk of money (by most people's personal standards). If they play it in a vanilla fashion, it is up to their knowledge, use of lifelines (and reliability of answers given) and potentially luck if they guess. However, the opportunity to take part in a scam increases the likelihood of winning, and combines all three vanilla factors, plus amplified chance through the cheat. In a personality test, there may be a crossover between the first set of people (gameshow participants for large monetary prizes) and second set (people willing to cheat in that kind of high stakes game). The common demoninator being high reward for relatively low investment/effort. I'd also add that general knowledge is a morality-free realm, apart from interest in what is true, so it may attract more amoral people than a lot of other realms of life.
Coincidences. Like 100% of the coughs occurred when Ingram read out the right answer even though the wrong answers outnumbered the right answers 3 to 1. Like when he never coughed between questions and the cough ceased immediately after Ingram left the stage.
So he has basically tried to say becasuse celador didnt stop the show on suspicions of cheating, then he is saying its their fault that he particiapted in helping out charles ingram with the right answers by coughing at him...........hmmmmmm.
I have watched the show, listened to both Ingrams and Whittock, and I am amazed these three continue with this charade. It is obvious what was happening. I suppose once you have gone down this path there is no point in changing course. Their reputations are riding on it and they figure they will be able to convince some. And since Ingram says he is a member of Mensa, he should agree to take a random test of similar questions to see how he would do.
I agree the documentary was one-sided but c'mon please, is he saying this entire thing is a coincidence? This is like a hail mary one in billion chance...so many things just don't add up that it seems ludicrous, how can this be a coincidence🤣 first he claims to not know them but then somehow she knew her brother and ended up talking to her. Im sure they discussed what syrup to buy after the show 😂 Tecwen is full of nonsense
18:48 There it is, that famous cough!
they think that everyone else except them is stupid.

Very British
All 3 of them should do lie detectors, be interesting
We need Jeremy Kyle to do that

the audacity to KEEP LYING makes me sooo nauseas. For continuing to LIE life sentences in prison as far as i am concerned
😂
Self justification is sadly characteristic after such things.
I understand your frustration but a hefty fine will more than teach a lesson. Life imprisonment is abit too far I'm afraid.
He asked for the answers

It made me smile when he said A1
