Man Found Dead in Apartment with Body Trauma - Bronx

May 5, 2024 Bronx, New York - On Sunday, May 5, 2024, at approximately 1452 hours, police responded to a 911 call of an aided at 1675 Lafayette Avenue, within the confines of the 43 Precinct/PSA 8. Upon arrival, officers observed a 37-year-old male unconscious and unresponsive with trauma about the body. EMS responded and pronounced the male deceased on scene. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death. The investigation remains ongoing. -DCPI
