But what’s stupid is that there are girls who act hyper sexual on the internet and were not raped. This just contributes to that myth that hyper sexual woman or girls must have been raped which although for some it’s true, for others it is not. This just is a way for out of control teens to gain acceptance from the public and their conservative morals/values and so they have to be like, “oh I act this way cause I was raped.” But like I said earlier, some people act sexual and were not raped. Melanie needs that love that her parents never gave her. Hopefully she turns her life around and make better decisions in her life. Kudos to Erickson for being the protector for his younger sister.
Why are y'all asking "where did you get that" when she quite literally said it herself. Her mother and father was never around and her grandma took care of her?? She was raped and no one believed her, I'm assuming her own parents as well because I'm pretty sure she would clarify that otherwise. She lacks support and her behavior shows that, if her parents truly loved and cared for her they would've been the ones getting her help or would've took her to this show.

This is a prime example of "Dont judge a book by its cover". Rape/ Sexual assault changes a person not only mentally, but emotionally and physically. It will change a person's mindset about every single person they come into contact with. As a victim myself, rape is not something to take lightly. I also work with kids who act just like Melanie. It takes a person to show that child LOVE, and to open our ears and LISTEN because their misbehavior; 9 times out of 10, ITS A CRY FOR HELP

I'm sending that girl love and healing. That type of trauma can be so damaging, especially when people close to you don't believe and judge you. People cope in different ways and she found a way to cope... I hope she receives the healing and support she deserves 💖
This segment was definitely one of the BEST I've seen on your show! Good job reaching this baby because she's just spinnin! God bless her and her brother with bright, safe futures.
The end when she jump up and hug him with so much love in her heart again. Her brother face of relief that he was able to save her. Brings joy to my heart ❤️ 🙏🏾
I totally believe that as much as she needs support she also needs discipline. She's still too young, she might think she has it all under control but she needs someone older to show her a way. So that later on in life she'll not blame anyone else if she chooses the same path. Discipline is a must not an option, her brother only wants the best for her that why it's impossible not to ask this questions.
I think she's looking for support, encouragement, understanding, whatever, but also acceptance of the poor choices she's making... I don't think she wants to change, at least not now. (I'm speaking from experience as a troubled teen who went through what she did). She wants acceptance in her being sexually active at 14, her twerking on TikTok, smoking weed, being sexualized, getting in trouble with the law. I understand being raped, it's terrible, and having parents not around much. I also got into drugs young, though I'm sober and cleaned up my act now that I'm an adult. I had sex young, all the girls in my friend group were, and were dressing up to attract attention, so I followed the crowd, lashed out at my parents, etc, but my parents were largely concerned of me, especially my grandma. I needed support, and to be heard, which I wasn't getting, which I'm sure would've helped with my attitude I had at the time, and build a relationship with them, feel comfortable at home, respect them and their rules more.... and maybe encouraged me to make better decisions, but you don't change unless you want to change. Especially with friend groups like that, yes you can branch out but it's harder than it sounds, especially with close knit relationships. And you learn to enjoy and almost crave the attention you get by dressing provocatively, acting like a grown woman, engaging in sex, smoking weed/doing drugs/drinking, and being incredibly mature for your age while also being irresponsible and arrogant. How we are raised, and what happens to us affects us greatly especially as children, but there still needs to be accountability, ownership of our actions and understanding in return of being given a better environment to grow. That rarely happens until you have that big realization that your life isn't the life you want, and that your making poor decisions that may not seem bad until you realize the impact it can have on your life, and personally decide to take action in having a better life. I wish her the best, I completely understand the struggle. Children need to be listened to, but also need some form of discipline. It's just hard to discipline them once they get like this, so sometimes parents start to listen to their kids, understand, and accept that this is how things are, and then the child continues on the bad route, where most of the times consequences (like teen pregnancy, jail time, stds, poor relationships, attitude, heavy drug use), will be faced for the kid and parents, because how do you stop it once it gets to that point that she's at?? How do you discipline that? You could do everything right and they won't change, will keep disrespecting, until they make that realization. I know from personal experience o went through and seen many go through, my psychology experience as well. People can change, I myself have, I don't even recognize my life now from before, I don't rarely ever even drink now, but you can't change until you decide to, and have that realization to.
I respect the host for understanding her. At 14yo I’m not gonna lie I was sneaking out hanging out with bad friends because that’s the environment I was in. I’m sure if she wasn’t raised in the hood/didn’t go through trauma like rape she could’ve been a “normal 14yo old” but she wasn’t and she couldn’t! I’m 20 now and I’ve matured! She will mature too, I wish her the best. ♥️
That’s not true, I wasn’t raised in the hood and still got molested by a boy and his two brothers. It’s crazy, rapist and molesters are their own problem not only your environment sigh.
I feel so bad for this young girl because she’s just so misunderstood. She’s going through that time in her life where she doesn’t really know who she is. She’s still trying to figure out herself and for all these people to judge her and they don’t even know her is crazy.
I hope the audience, especially the two GROWN woman going back and fourth with her, know that that particular clip goes nearly viral on multiple platforms like every 2 months… and everyone is laughing at them for how fast they shut the hell up when they actually reminded their place as an audience member and let her talk

This is such a stupid myth that is being fed to the idiotic public. Some teens act up- don’t mean they were raped. This just stupid.

This is a prime example of "Dont judge a book by its cover". Rape/ Sexual assault changes a person not only mentally, but emotionally and physically. As someone who’s went through similar experiences as a child, it really isn’t easy to “act your age” anymore. Someone stole our innocence.
@@sonder1593 I believe you're absolutely correct and also we need parents presence more than we need their presents

@@eluxurycarrental9018 both of you guys have an excellent point
my relatine got pregnant at 13 but she was not raped she chose to do things she wasn't supposed to do
I feel so bad for this young girl because she’s just so misunderstood. She’s going through that time in her life where she doesn’t really know who she is. She’s still trying to figure out herself and for all these people to judge her and they don’t even know her is crazy.
She’s gonna appreciate him caring so about her one day, he protective because of what she experienced when she was younger
I hope the audience, especially the two GROWN woman going back and fourth with her, know that that particular clip goes nearly viral on multiple platforms like every 2 months… and everyone is laughing at them for how fast they shut the hell up when they actually reminded their place as an audience member and let her talk
She’s a beautiful young girl and she has a life ahead of her , I hope everything works out for her . 💗
She’s so beautiful. She has mad potential 🤍
The crowd definitely would have got cussed out from me ..
And what good would that have done??
@@wadilotus a lot because you shouldn't judge people and argue with a child when you're an adult! These kids today get very defensive and the crowd did what most do, judge before hearing her story!
dead searsssss

her innocence was stolen. it's what she grew up with that made her do the things she did. she's still a young girl feel awful for her. so much trauma unfolded.
loved how she calm down once kam let her talk and express herself
I respect Karamo so much for the compassion he showed Melanie 🥺💗
I hope this baby gets the right support. Bless her heart. So happy she has someone in her corner. One day she’s gonna thank her brother.
I can relate to the older brother. When parents put siblings in a parental role it can cause challenges in the sibling relationship. Her parents need to be the ones providing discipline and boundaries.
When she stood up immediately hug Karamo that spoke volumes. People should LISTEN to children & stop tryna put them “in a child’s place” all the time.
Great job to the host for being a listener and empathetic to this young lady. That's probably all she needed in this moment. Her big brother is also her protector and you can tell that he loves her and only wants the best for her. This world is a crazy place.
I was raped twice by the same man when I was 8 and 12 it actually CHANGES SOMEONE I never felt the same and all my comfort was bad things and also them two ladies should be ashamed for what they did I wonder how their children can open up to them
Im so sorry that happened to you.. i hope you heal🥺🥺🥺💔💔💗💗
I have a similar experience!!! I’m so sorry this has happened to you!!
Oh my. I’m so sorry . 🫂
The crowd bashing her before she even spoke and then when they heard her story it went silent. I like how this host really cares for her feelings unlike other ones who would pick on her , but this host is jst respectful. ❤️
That lady feeling mahhhhh stupid 😂😂😂😂😂😂
lmaooooo! 100%! Ashamed and embarrassed!
As she should lmfaoo never judge someone
LOL their head was down the whole time
My heart breaks for Melanie. I hope she gets into some counseling and starts to learn to love herself and see that she deserves better for herself. The father should be ashamed. I don’t care how many hours you work, you make time to be there for your daughter!
This man is awesome. I really like how he listened to her and understood her. Didn’t judge her and jump down her throat
I loved the way Karamo handled this situation because he was able to de-escalate the hostility while identifying the real problem.
