    Thank you so much for your tutorials! I learned a lot. I was wondering why do we use "_sweep2" command instead of loft or "networksrf" ?

    • @PJChenJewelryDesign
      @PJChenJewelryDesign  3 года назад

      you can try both. sometimes it is personal preference and sometime one surface work better than others.

    hi great video, how would you then thicken this up into a solid that can be exported as a step file for machining?

    • @PJChenJewelryDesign
      @PJChenJewelryDesign  3 года назад +1

      depends on your design. you can offset the surface. or just make a copy and move out for the thickness. then create the surface in between surfaces.

    Is there a way to create a custom toolbar with tools you use most often?

    • @PJChenJewelryDesign
      @PJChenJewelryDesign  4 года назад

      yes, under the "option- toolbar" you can call out the tool you use the most and drag them to the place you want them to stay.

    • @adargham11
      @adargham11 4 года назад

      @@PJChenJewelryDesign What about an individual tool? For example I want a single toolbar to include a polyline, a pipe, sweep1, etc etc. Is that possible?

      SLR SAR you can join all the surfaces and cap it to be solid.
